Certainly you aren't suggesting that paying a fair wage is the only criterion affecting an outcome, only a moron would believe that.

'For the study, published in the April issue of Preventative Medicine, researchers examined the lunch trays of 2,000 randomly selected Angeleno middle schoolers over five consecutive days. Though the students are offered a fruit and a vegetable each day, 32 percent of students did not take the fruit from the line, and almost 40 percent did not take the vegetables. Among those who did take a fruit or vegetable, 22 percent threw away the fruit and 31 percent tossed the vegetables without eating a single bite.
So in essence, just over half the students both took and ate some fruit, and about 42 percent both took and ate a vegetable.'

PDB warnings were nothing new under Bush's presidency. Even if they had, in fact, intensified during his first eight months, I want you to outline in exact detail what he should have done with these imminent warnings to prevent 9/11.
And if you can't, then please give it a rest.
Why don't we concentrate on what he did do dimwit which was NOTHING! There were reports of suspicious students at flight schools in various parts of the country but did the Bush DOJ follow up on them? No.
The fact is that Bush after getting the warning just stayed on the ranch for almost another week.
I won't give it a rest Carol as long as fools like you obsess on Benghazi where there were no warnings and continue your false accusations of a cover-up. We didn't learn of the PDB in question until 2004. Isn't that some kind of cover-up in and of itself?

The VA system and the system under the ACA are totally different dumbass. Under the VA the government owns the hospitals and the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers are government employees. Under the ACA we get our insurance through the private sector and go to privately or in some cases municipally owned hospitals and private practice physicians. The government isn't adding layers of bureaucracy fool; it's reining in the bureaucracy that already existed in the insurance industry.
Say..how many xrays do it take in 24 hrs...to get duh same pikture of duh same one damn thing.

"There are thousands just like him out there babe, bouncing around the VA system while bouncing the VA system around."
So, therefore, you claim some veterans abuse the system and assume that won't happen under the same system of bureaucracy - layers and layers of it - with ObamaCare since you still defend this law.
It would seem it's your brain on crack. What do you think the goal of single payer is? It's the VA magnified times 300 million.
Wrong again stupid! Even with a single payer system like Medicare we would still be using private sector medical facilities and private practice health providers.
But keep on demonstrating that you don't know what the hell you're talking about like you do on a daily basis.

WTH DuhPobt---are you saing the State Dept was lying with its similar to below issued warning, or to just wartch out fer those rogue type vid-ee-yo's??

The Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the risks of traveling to Libya and strongly advises against all but essential travel to Tripoli and against all travel to areas outsideof Tripoli. Because of ongoing instability and violence, the Department’s ability to provide consular services to U.S. citizens within Tripoliis extremely limited, and the Department cannot provide consular services outside Tripoli except by telephone. The U.S. Embassy in Libya remains an unaccompanied post due to security concerns. This Travel Warning supersedes the Travel Warning dated June 7, 2013.

The Libyan government is still working to rebuild its military and police forces and improve security following the 2011 revolution. The security situation remains unpredictable and unstable. Many military-grade weapons remain in the hands of private individuals, including antiaircraft weapons that may be used against civilian aviation. Crime levels remain high in many parts of the country. In addition to the threat of crime, various groups have called for attacks against U.S. citizens and U.S. interests in Libya. For instance, in October and December 2013, extremist groups in Libya made specific threats against U.S. government officials and U.S. non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Libya. Because of the presumption that foreigners, especially U.S. citizens, in Libya may be associated with the U.S. government or U.S. NGOs, travelers should be aware that they may be targeted by extremist groups seeking to injure or kill U.S. citizens, and should act accordingly with extreme caution. In addition, on December 5, 2013, a U.S. citizen teacher resident in Benghazi was killed in a drive-by shooting near his home.

Sporadic episodes of civil unrest have occurred throughout the country and attacks by armed militants can occur in many different areas; hotels frequented by westerners have been caught in the crossfire. On November 15, 2013, fighting between militias and protesters in Tripoli resulted in the deaths of approximately 50 people with hundreds more injured. Since that time, some militias have withdrawn from Tripoli. However, checkpoints controlled by militias are common outside of Tripoli and other urban areas have witnessed fighting between armed groups and government forces. Closures or threats of closures of the international airports occur regularly, for maintenance-, labor-, or security-related reasons.

U.S. citizens should avoid areas of demonstrations and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations, as even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. U.S. citizens traveling to or remaining in Libya should use caution and limit nonessential travel within the country, make their own contingency emergency plans, and maintain security awareness at all times........

Three days after the publication of Michael Waldman’s new book,“The Second Amendment: A Biography,” Elliot Rodger, 22, went on a killing spree, stabbing three people and then shooting another eight, killing four of them, including himself. This was only the latest mass shooting in recent memory, going back to Columbine.

In his rigorous, scholarly, but accessible book, Waldman notes such horrific events but doesn’t dwell on them. He is after something else. He wants to understand how it came to be that the Second Amendment, long assumed to mean one thing, has come to mean something else entirely. To put it another way: Why are we, as a society, willing to put up with mass shootings as the price we must pay for the right to carry a gun?[...] Virtually every reference to “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms”— the second part of the Second Amendment — was in reference to military defense. Waldman notes the House debate over the Second Amendment in the summer of 1789:“Twelve congressmen joined the debate. None mentioned a private right to bear arms for self-defense, hunting or for any purpose other than joining the militia.”

KNOW YOUR HISTORY: Memorial Day was started by former slaves on May, 1, 1865 in Charleston, SC to honor 257 dead Union Soldiers who had been buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. They dug up the bodies and worked for 2 weeks to give them a proper burial as gratitude for fighting for their freedom. They then held a parade of 10,000 people led by 2,800 Black children where they marched, sang and celebrated.
Thanks to Abstrakt Goldsmith for this nugget of history that most of us never learned in school.

4000 dead soldiers based on a real lie is OK. No need for Congress to investigate that.

No need to investigate that somehow, the only country deemed able to take care of our troops was the Vice President's former company that got billions in no bid contracts. No need for Congress to investigate that.

Billions of U.S. dollars vanish from Iraq. No need to investigate that.

Hundreds of soldiers killed because of unarmored vehicles & not enough body armor, but hey you go to war with the army you have.

4 dead Americans killed in a remote region of a post civil war Libya is certainly worthy of two years of investigation.

Stopped some & limited Al Qaeda's ability to plan & fund large operations.

So a man plans & kills 3000 Americans on 9-11 & you don't give a rat's ass of they catch or kill him? What kind of signal does that present to the terrorists? That they can kill innnocent Americans on our soil with no threat of retaliation??

Really??? What kind of chickensh*t are you?
