Dave,

I saw this question posted and I was wondering if you had any comments about it.

Man made global warming is based on correlation. A basic principle of science is that correlation does not prove causation.

"Real scientists would demand to know the physics of how increased CO2 in the atmosphere causes global warming. Is there any real physics behind this unsupported bold assertion?"

part of the reason that medical costs are so high is because of people who don't pay their bills.......
time is money.......
other people are paying for you.....
No one is paying anything for me. And I will thank you to stop misjudging me. Every one of my medical bills are paid on time and in a timely manner until paid off.

But perhaps I should be thankful my deductible was only in the three digits and not $2000 or $3000 like it is for many others.

You're starting to sound more like an elitist. And a snobby one at that.

But you're absolutely right about medical costs being higher because too many don't pay their bills. However, being forced to fork over thousands of dollars before receiving care for those who do pay their bills is not only unfair because millions more will receive free health care at their expense under ObamaCare but it's going to cost paying patients even more.

Does fairness fit anywhere into your apparent elitism?

maybe you should ask one of the FOXbots seeing as how they own him.
You are parsing the issue. Your justification rests with what you interpret to be public opinion, which is manipulated. Let's stay with the facts. The fact is:

He didn't say "good". He speculated as to whether the black population would be "better off" having daily work than being idle slaves on the government plantation.
All that is necessary is to get up every morning and get to work on time every day. Then, the entire world will change for them.
What's so difficult about doing that?
Or, that would be violating some cultural norm?

Reagan economic adviser....

Over the next few years, Reagan came under the influence of Rep. Jack Kemp (R-NY), Wall Street Journal editorial writer Jude Wanniski, economist Arthur Laffer and other proponents of “supply-side economics.” While skeptical at first, in 1979 Reagan endorsed the Kemp-Roth tax bill, which would have cut statutory income tax rates by about 30 percent across the board. After winning the White House in 1980, Reagan sent the Kemp-Roth proposal to Congress and it was enacted in August 1981.

Almost immediately upon enactment of the 1981 tax cut, Reagan came under enormous pressure to do something about the federal budget deficit. While his preferred approach was to cut spending as much as necessary, it was not politically possible to so. His aides began pressuring him to support a tax increase. Conservative activists were appalled that Reagan would even consider such a thing, but he eventually endorsed the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982. According to a Treasury Department analysis, it raised taxes by close to one percent of GDP, equivalent to $150 billion per year today, and was probably the largest peacetime tax increase in American history.

This was just the first of many tax increases that President Reagan endorsed and signed into law. There were 11 major tax increases during his administration.

ObamaCare is government intrusion into our most private personal lives. It is social engineering. It is designed to lead to single payer and politically motivated by the few to expand power to an even bigger government overseen by the few and implemented by an autonomous and very powerful IRS.
It will not improve health care. Receiving health care will now become more timely and inefficient. We were promised more affordable health care for everyone. Even you must know by now that was a lie. Many will be paying more for this second-rate care.
You simply can't accept there were other ways to achieve a much more common sense and do-able goal which both of us - as well as the majority of Americans - desired without big government looking over our doctors' shoulders and making decisions about our health.
How could anyone possibly think that was the better solution?
You would be thrilled with a universal single payer system. Everyone would.

Here are six conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized .

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

That pretty much sums up the USA in the Age of Morons, Mooches, Marxists, and Muslims.

If Democrat President - Its their fault for everything during their Presidency

If Republican President then:
If Democrat Congress - its their fault.
If Split Congress - its whichever is Democrat control's fault

If Republican President w/ Republican Congress then its the fault a short, fat gay guy.

Florida Republican Arrested For DUI After Leaving Taco Bell At 2 A.M.(UPDATED)

"We need to be as elected officials held to a higher standard," said Florida state Rep. Dane Eagle (R-Cape Coral) last month after sponsoring a bill that would require legislators to submit to drug testing.

Just before 2 a.m. Monday morning, Eagle was arrested in Tallahassee on suspicion of DUI. Police first spotted him pulling out of a Taco Bell in his black SUV before he narrowly avoided hitting a median, then stopped in an intersection, veered into a curb and ran a traffic light, according to arrest documents.

An arresting officer wrote that Eagle smelled like alcohol, had "bloodshot, watery, and glassy eyes," and swayed while outside his vehicle, but denied drinking any alcoholic beverages. He allegedly claimed the smell of booze had come from friends who had ridden in his car after being at a bar, and refused to take a field sobriety test or submit to a breath test, according to police.

Eagle, 30, was booked at Leon County Jail and later released.

"I was arrested in Tallahassee and accused of driving under the influence of alcohol," Eagle said in a statement, according to the News-Press. "While there are some decisions that I would have made differently, I do not believe there is a complete and accurate picture of the events. Under advice of my legal counsel, I cannot discuss all the details right now, but I look forward to publically (sic) sharing the entire story at an appropriate time. Until then, I humbly ask for everyone's patience. I know that I am accountable for my actions, and I look forward to communicating with my constituents in the near future on this matter."

Massive Iceberg Six Times The Size Of Manhattan Breaks Off Antarctica

""WASHINGTON, April 23 (Reuters)- Scientists are monitoring an iceberg roughly six times the size of Manhattan - one of the largest now in existence - that broke off from an Antarctic glacier and is heading into the open ocean.

NASA glaciologist Kelly Brunt said on Wednesday the iceberg covers about 255 square miles (660 square km) and is up to a third of a mile (500 meters) thick. Known as B31, the iceberg separated from Antarctica's Pine Island Glacier last November, Brunt added.

"It's one that's large enough that it warrants monitoring," Brunt said in a telephone interview, noting that U.S. government organizations including the National Ice Center keep an eye on dozens of icebergs at any given time.""

Reagan agreed to the increases because the Democrats promised to lower spending.

Once again, the Democrats lied and the spending was NEVER reduced.

MSNBC doesn't need to blame everyone else for it's mistakes. just watch FOX try to blame Obama for FOX supporting a racist.
and ratings don't mean much when the leader only has 3 million idiots watching every night. more people get their news from the net then they do FOX. which is turning out to be quite the obstacle for perpetuating FOX lies. just ask carol.
The conditions Bundy described were deplorable, and part of the reality of the world. The actual answer is, living conditions under slavery were better than what he observed in the slums he described. That is not an endorsement of slavery. That is a condemnation of the cause of the deplorable living conditions observed.
In other words, slavery is better than Democrats running the show.
How do you feel about being worse than slavery?

You have to invent fraudulent statements from Bundy to make your point. Does that tell you anything.

So, someone who observes the real world, then speaks about their observations, and offers a cynical analogy is a racist now? Well, after you invent quotes like "slavery is good", which was never said or implied, a media conspiracy can make it appear as such.

What they need is a community organizer that can lead them toward making personal choices that doesn't perpetuate and propagate poverty.
Offhand, I can't think of anyone you are aware of who has done that.
