Keep it classy, Carol. Lol
Would rather not call it "tragic". Hopeful is more like it. Not that worried.

ObamaCare, however, is "tragic".

Let's keep the topic on the tragedy affecting us all. Or the comedy of errors. Either/or.

Some of you still haven't grasped or just won't accept that deductibles and premiums HAVE to be paid up front under ObamaCare before receiving medical attention for everyone who got stuck bearing the cost and tax burden of this monstrosity.

But this little fact is understandably too hard for some to digest. It blows the "affordable" part right out of the water.

Percentages can be deceptive. If you notice Reagan's total debt was $1.86 trillion for 8 years while winning the Cold War. Obama's is $5.081 trillion in 5 years and he has done what? At least Bush has 911 and two wars to fight!!!
Would you like to provide Reagan's figures in today's dollars? And, just how much to think it took to fight that "Cold War" which you claim he won.

This administration believes it can fudge the numbers long enough to keep us confused and in the dark until after this election year.

Let's just hope we really aren't that stupid.

Or even if enough of us have to find out the hard way we've been duped, this awakening happens before November.

No matter how many names they call us or tactics they use to divide us.

Your son-in-law was elected by a combination of the Gimme Set who want everything to be handed to them free, the Liberal America Can Do No Right set and the Naive Millenials who bought Obama's promise of 'Hope and Change' president in 2008 and were just as clueless in 2012.

Given enough time and five long years of broken promises and blatant lies should be enough for anyone. Even shallow and gullible "millennials" should realize that they were had.

Worse, just this past week MIchelle demanded to see his birth certificate.

So many lies....
The ACA has nothing to do with the Republican proposal for healthcare.
Democrats Were Wrong on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Seventeen. That's how many times, according to this White House statement (hat tip Gateway Pundit), that the Bush administration has called for tighter regulation of the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/barone/20...
What Republican plan are you talking about Ace? Because currently the Republicans don't really have one. But here's one GOP bill from 1993 The Health Equity and Access Reform Today Act. It had a list of 20 co-sponsors that was a who’s who of Republican leadership. There was Minority Leader Bob Dole, R- Kan., Sens. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and many others. There also were two Democratic co-sponsors. Among its provisions were;
• An individual mandate;
• Creation of purchasing pools;
• Standardized benefits;
• Vouchers for the poor to buy insurance;
• A ban on denying coverage based on a pre-existing condition.
Sound familiar?
Stuart Butler, then director of domestic policy research at Heritage and, since 2010, director of Heritage’s Center For Policy Innovation made this statement;
Many states now require passengers in automobiles to wear seatbelts for their own protection. Many others require anybody driving a car to have liability insurance. But neither the federal government nor any state requires all households to protect themselves from the potentially catastrophic costs of a serious accident or illness. Under the Heritage plan, there would be such a requirement.
Sounds like an individual mandate to me.
In a 1989 lecture, Butler also said
a new index of eligibility would be developed to link Medicaid coverage to poverty instead of welfare. This is an important distinction, because many poor families struggling to keep off welfare currently risk enormous and uncovered medical bills because they are not eligible, or do not seek, to go on to the welfare rolls.
Wow! Medicaid expansion too!
I wouldn't go to someone like Michael Barone for an opinion which this is. He's ignoring the fact that while the housing bubble was expanding out of control, the GOP held power in Congress and could have done whatever they wanted too.
Keep in mind that this genius pretty much batted zero in his predictions for the 2012 elections.

<quoted text> Oh yeah, how do you have a surplus and increase the debt 37%? You can't!!!
You need to educate yourself about the difference between the budget and the debt. If you have a surplus in your budget, you don't need to borrow as much money. Borrowing is what increases the debt. Thanks to the budget surplus he inherited from Clinton, Bush did not need to borrow as much.

OMG Carol, you act as if you've never had insurance in your life. Deductibles always have existed and always have to be paid, same as premiums. What the hell are you talking about?

So, tell us how you are paying your premiums to Obamacare? Do you write that on your check? BWaahaaa!
It's your insurance company. Yes; that lofty corporation with the $10 million dollar a year CEO and it's board that answers to shareholders. Do you know anything at all?
