Hey Progressives, is this the SCIENTIST / PROFESSOR / DOCTOR / LAB TECH you want checking the accuracy of medical literature?

Galt is lying again. Solar cycles are a factor in global temperatures. They are not the cause of the past decade being the warmest on record.

nevada has no coal fired generating stations?
Why aren't you " OMG OMG OMG"ing those? Their pollution covers more land that the solar generating plants take up.
New coal plants might be cleaner but they are far from clean.
The electricity generated by that new solar plant is sold to Nevada Power Company which puts that plant in their backyard where you said it belonged.
Solar Energy might be more to generate but if this plant is successful, then more plants will built & the cost will drop making the electricity produced cheaper.
Factor in the costs of that pollution on the health costs & pollution clean up costs, coal isn't so cheap anymore. Especially if we factor in the costs of Global Warming.
Immagine, no fuel, no pollution.
No digging rocks a few hundred feet deep, hauling them to the surface, transporting them by rail hundreds of miles, cleaning them, burning them to boil water to make steam to run a turbine and produce toxic pollutants & greenhouse gases.
To a person like you who doesn't care if people die from the particulates or how any kids get autism from the mercury, I am sure saving a few bucks on your electric bill is far more important.
I say we need to fund research & construction of renewable energy plants & install a cap & trade on carbon to force assh*les like you to participate it reducing pollution & reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
But what about the turtles, moron? Obama just unleashed a paramilitary unit on a rancher because of those turtles. Don't you still want to save the turtles?

Okay, the New York Times is spreading lies and misinformation.

WASHINGTON — The Census Bureau, the authoritative source of health insurance data for more than three decades, is changing its annual survey so thoroughly that it will be difficult to measure the effects of President Obama’s health care law in the next report, due this fall, census officials said.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/16/us/politics...

The headline reads "Census Survey Revisions Mask Health Law Effects"

But this is just a coincidence, right?

Would you happen to be tone deaf too, by the way?

If you think the Earth is hot now, try wearing plate armor in the Middle Ages.

A Swedish study found that the planet was warmer in ancient Roman times and the Middle Ages than today, challenging the mainstream idea that man-made greenhouse gas emissions are the main drivers of global warming.

The study, by scientist Leif Kullman, analyzed 455 “radiocarbon-dated mega-fossils” in the Scandes mountains and found that tree lines for different species of trees were higher during the Roman and Medieval times than they are today.

Not only that, but the temperatures were higher as well.

I an't believe that you are still lying about this.
There was already effective oversight. The Democrats argued against more oversight.
My God you people are dumber than sh*t.
The major purpose of the additional oversight was to put this oversight in the White House.
If Obama tried this you would have a fit & scream & yell about the Constitution. But since Bush tried it, you don't care.
I can't believe that you are still lying about this.
If there was effective oversight, the Director of OFHEO would not have discovered Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were keeping fraudulent books to hide the CRA disaster that was evident as early as 2003 when the Democrats agreed to support the war in Iraq in exchange for the Republicans giving them no effective oversight of the Democrats' Marxist CRA program that collapsed our economy after two years of oversight by Democrats Dodd and Frank, from whom we heard a constant stream of lies right up to the collapse.
If there was effective oversight, there would have been significant constraints placed on the mortgage underwriters of CRA loans after it was discovered they were keeping fraudulent books to hide the CRA disaster.
The Republicans ignore the evidence of fraud to hide the CRA disaster, and the Democrats support the war in Iraq.
Kind of hard to not connect those dots, isn't it?
