Wasn't going to post anything because it's so late and was just catching up.

But you keep missing the point. Somebody told Susan Rice to go on all those Sunday shows and misinform the public about a spontaneous mob and a video. Surely, Obama would have had to know she was going to do that. And if the investigations were truly ongoing as he repeatedly said when asked if it was, in fact, a terrorist attack, why did he repeatedly tell everyone at the same time it was because of a video including the victims' families at their funerals and in front of the UN two weeks later?

There's something very unsettling about a president who speaks out of both sides of his mouth - allowing misinformation to be released to the general public and perpetrating that misinformation at the same time he's telling everyone the investigations are still ongoing about a terrorist attack.

It points to guilt and a cover up. Innocent people don't say two different things at the same time.

We have a new kind of leadership in the White House. The President's Club. Everyone has tenure and is rewarded for insulting the owner of the club from any culpability in having created an environment of corruption.

Hopefully, the Club will soon be exposed and dispersed.

But it really is getting late. Night, shinning.

I keep hearing media heads talking about how GM might be legally immune from prosecution or liability for anything they did prior to their bankruptcy and reorganization as the "new" GM.
And, further, this was all part and parcel in the grand scheme of things. That's why the ignition switch issue dragged on for so long; they were waiting to go bankrupt to erase their legal problems. Aha...wouldn't you know it? The Magic Negro got on board, too!

No Need for Voter ID
North Carolina’s Board of Elections found that tens of thousands of registered voters from the state have personal information matching that of registered voters in other states, and appear to have voted in states other than North Carolina in 2012. In some cases, votes were cast under names of individuals who had passed away before Election Day.

The review searched databases in 27 other states and 101 million voter records for information such as matching names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.

The review found that 35,570 North Carolina voters from 2012 shared the same first names, last names, and dates of birth with individuals who voted in other states. Another 765 Tar Heel State residents who voted in 2012 had the the same names, birthdays, and final four digits of a Social Security number as voters elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the election board’s executive director, Kim Westbrook Strach, told lawmakers that 81 deceased North Carolinians apparently voted in 2012 as well. While some appear to have submitted absentee ballots prior to their death, she said “there are between 40 and 50 who had died at a time that that’s not possible.”

Strach offered a series of proposals for the state to consider to better secure its voting practices and reduce fraud, including on-site digital face-recognition or electronic-signature technology.

In a report that aired on Topeka, KS ABC affiliate KTKA on Tuesday, Newman Regional Hospital in Emporia, KS is scaling back some services as a means of countering the "negative financial impacts of the Affordable Care Act."

According to KTKA, the cuts at the hospital are due to a projected $3.5 million loss this year. These cuts will result in 10 full-time employees and five part-time employees being laid off permanently and are expected to save the hospital $1 million annually.

“It’s looking into the future," Newman Regional CEO Bob Wright said to KTKA.“Knowing that we need to make a profit, having the advantage of critical access getting us most of the way there but having really to do our part as good stewards of our resources to make sure that we’re profitable.”

DENVER (CBS4)– More people are claiming they are being pulled over out of state to see if they have marijuana simply because they have Colorado license plates.

They strongly suspect it’s because Colorado stores now legally sell marijuana to those over the age of 21.

The Colorado Drug Investigators Association says there have been a lot of seizures of marijuana from cars leaving Colorado and going out of state.

Drivers are complaining they are being stopped for no good reason.

David Atkins says a Nevada State Trooper in an unmarked car following a different driver suddenly started following him and turned on his flashers.

“There was no reason for him to pull us over. Why did he pull us over? Only because we had a Colorado license plate and he stuck his head in there and started sniffing as soon as he came up to the car,” said Adkins.

DENVER (AP/CBS4)– A Wyoming college student visiting Denver on spring break jumped to his death after eating a marijuana cookie that his friend legally purchased in one of Colorado’s recreational pot shops, authorities said Wednesday.

An autopsy report lists marijuana intoxication as a “significant contributing factor” in the death of 19-year-old Levy Thamba Pongi, a native of the Republic of Congo who fell from a motel balcony on March 11.

It marked the first time the Denver medical examiner’s office has listed a marijuana edible as a contributor to a death, said Michelle Weiss-Samaras, a spokeswoman for the office.

“We have not had that,” she said.

Investigators believe Pongi and his friends came to Colorado to try marijuana, Weiss-Samaras said.

The friends told investigators that Pongi ate the cookie and “exhibited hostile behavior” that included pulling things off walls and speaking erratically, the autopsy report said.

Attempts by the three friends to calm Pongi seemed to work until he went outside and jumped over the balcony railing, according to the report.

Denver police ruled the death an accident but said their investigation remains open.

Colorado law bans the sale of recreational marijuana products to people under 21. It is also illegal for those under 21 to possess marijuana, and adults can be charged with a felony for giving it to someone under the legal age.

Authorities said one of Pongi’s friends was old enough to buy the cookie from a pot shop. It was unclear whether the friend might face charges.

The medical examiner’s office had Pongi’s body tested for at least 250 different substances, including bath salts and synthetic marijuana, which are known to cause strange behavior. His blood tested positive only for THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, according to the report.

Dr. Scott Bentz said they see a number of patients every week who have seemingly overdosed on edible marijuana. They show symptoms from shortness of breath to paranoia.

“I think with edibles we’re in a bit of a danger zone,” said Bentz with Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Bentz said it’s not typical of marijuana to affect impulse control. He adds that research is based mostly on marijuana that is inhaled, not ingested.
