Clinton did nothing? Why are you such a damned liar? In response to the attacks on American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania Clinton ordered cruise missile attacks on Al Qaeda facilities. Sending 75 cruise missiles isn't doing "nothing".
But go ahead keep absolving your hero George W Bush of ignoring warnings of a imminent attack on US soil and doing nothing to prevent it.
Okay so Obama was in a pre K classroom when he got word of the situation in Crimea. Where was George W when he got word of the 9/11 attacks? In a classroom. So what?
IN response to Monica, Clinton bombed an aspirin factory.

Fox News Bravely Reminds Viewers That IRS & Benghazi Killed More Than The 239 People On Malaysian Airliner

Looks like a memo from the Desk Of Murdoch made its way Thursday to the on-air meatpuppets at Fox News. On the March 20 edition of The Five, footage of the passengers’ anxious relatives inspired Andrea Tantaros to declare that the poor folks must feel exactly like the families of the Americans who died at Benghazi. And then just a little bit later, Bill O’Reilly explained why there’s been so much coverage of the missing plane: not because there’s anything inherently interesting about an airplane vanishing without a trace with 239 people aboard, but because the media are afraid to cover the most timely stories in the news today, the IRS and Benghazi.

And just in case you missed it, Thursday was also the day that MSNBC’s Chris Hayes delivered a brilliant jeremiad against using the missing airliner as an excuse to advance a paranoid political agenda on pet issues. Pretty good timing there, Chris!

On The Five, Kimberly Guilfoyle set up the shot, imagining how difficult it must be for the families of the people on the plane to still not know what had happened after a full two weeks. After that assist, Tantaros drove to the basket, launching a long, not at all credulity-straining 3-point attempt:

“Think how long it took for them to get this kind of media attention,” Tantaros added.“I mean, living in Malaysia, the government seemingly ignored these people, they didn’t want their stories to get out. They weren’t talking to them … they were saying ‘No one has come to my house, no one has told me what has happened … It feels like the families of Benghazi, just saying. And we’re better than that.”

And the crowd went wild, presumably. It certainly sounded like a spontaneous observation, and not the least bit scripted. So the measure of Fox News empathy is now “this makes us almost as sad as Benghazi. But not quite.” They’re sort of like the people who write letters to the editor after a natural disaster or terrorist attack comparing the death toll to the millions of unborn babies murdered by abortion.

Considering you called me a liar about Obama and the pre-K classroom, maybe you should wait before calling me a liar about everything else.
Clinton's missiles destroyed an Al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory where 50% of Sudan's medications for both people and animals were manufactured. The Clinton administration claimed the plant produced chemical weapons, but a thorough investigation after the missile strikes revealed that the intelligence was false.
The United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 1189 condemning the attacks on the embassies.
So much for Clinton's response to terrorism.
Clinton also bombed Iraq the night before the impeachment vote saying Iraq had stopped cooperating with UNSCOM inspectors when the cooperation had actually been increasing.
The bombing stopped right after the vote.
Then there were Clinton's harsh sanctions in Iraq that killed half a million children.
All of these things may have had something to do with terrorists hating us even more and our perceived weakness before 9/11.
If you can blame Bush, there's plenty more reasons to blame Clinton.
Kosovo, Bosnia and Yugoslavia come to mind where Clinton actually backed the terrorists-- Clinton wanted to prove to the Moslem world that we really cared and that we were willing to destroy a Christian people to prove it. Americans on both sides were fed propaganda by Clinton, television pictures began to show trains bearing the refugees fleeing from their countryside--images reminiscent of trains bearing Jews being shipped to concentration camps by the Nazis-then Clinton with his manipulation saw his approvals rise, it was a sick distortion by the Clinton machine. President Clinton was (up until O'bama) the biggest con artist this nation has ever seen and it is unfortunate that the American people believed every word uttered by him regarding the events in the Balkans even though over 75% of the American people believed him to be a liar.

Later that evening, on The O’Reilly Factor, Billo went mano-a-monomania with the airliner story as well:

After noting that it is indeed kind of big news that possible wreckage had been found, Billo added that there’ll no doubt be endless speculation about the possible discovery, and unlike the moon’s influence on the tides, he knew exactly how to explain it:“The media is running wild with the airline story as you know, and there is a big reason why.”

Oh, let us guess! Morbid curiosity? Widespread amazement that after two weeks, this is still a complete mystery? Basic human interest? What?

“Money. The nation’s newspapers are in dire trouble. They need bold headlines. The network news doesn’t want to cover important stories like the IRS and Benghazi but they can cover the airliner without any political consequences.”

This is so very true! If only every single media outlet had the courage of Fox News, and would harp on two stories that are far more fascinating to everyone. Lord knows Americans have been crying out for more coverage of Benghazi and the IRS, please.

Billo continued, getting to the real source of his ire:

Cable news, which now dominates America’s prime time media, is in a brutal war for ratings. The Fox News Channel was the #1 rated cable channel in the country last week. Not just news, all cable channels. We beat everybody. The zombies, the thrones, you name it.

There’s a lot at stake here. FNC wants to keep its leadership and its main competitor, CNN, understands there’s an appetite for the airline story. So it’s going wall-to-wall trying to generate some interest, get some viewers.

Ah, yes, the huge triumph of Fox News over Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, which both would be well-advised to include appropriate subplots. Perhaps Game of Thrones could include a wizard who places hexes on Tea Party groups that apply for tax exemptions, and we suppose that The Walking Dead could somehow contrive a story line about a small group of heroes besieged by mindless gibbering hordes that want to kill them, and they find that there’s no one coming to help them.

And then there’s the ratings competition from CNN, which actually has been kicking Fox’s tail with the airliner story. Funny Billo didn’t mention that. For a fan of free markets, O’Reilly isn’t very happy when consumers turn their eyeballs to some other network’s screens, which can only be explained by the cold hard fact that they’re being distracted by trivia instead of focusing on Benghazi and the IRS like they should.

Still, there’s hope for Billo yet — it’s spring, so maybe Fox can do another round of War on Easter stories.

"Putin – having taken stock of declining global trust in, and the influence of, the United States – obviously senses that this is the time for a renewed, and likely sustained, Russian assertiveness.

And he is right. Before issuing any orders to his forces, Putin knew his Crimean venture would be virtually risk-free, and he was bolstered in this belief by the West’s non-response when Russia invaded Georgia in 2008 (the West having been stunned by Russia’s military nimbleness and agility).

He believed that the U.S. and the West would dither impotently this time around as well, and he was correct on this point as well, evidenced by clumsy impositions of sanctions that aren’t even aimed at Moscow, but instead at individual Russians.

What’s more, Putin is cognizant of history. Today, as in the 1930s, in virtually no corner of the Western world is there an appetite to go to war – again – in Crimea, or another Middle East hell hole, over just about any other place on the globe."

No longer is there any fear of any thing from the United States, I am glad I speak Russian.

The organizers of a Fourth of July celebration in Longview, Texas, have decided to pay rocker-turned-conservative activist Ted Nugent $16,000 to not appear at their holiday music event as planned, according to KLTV.

Preparing to hold its second annual Fourth of July festival at the Maude Cobb Convention Center, event organizers contacted several artists in hopes of booking them for the date. One of those artists was rocker Ted Nugent with whom the event planners had reached a verbal agreement

However, Nugent has become increasingly more controversial during his stint campaigning for Texas gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott, causing the organizers to reconsider the performer’s appearance.

Faced with a guaranteed performance fee of $32,000, the City of Longview instead agreed to pay Nugent $16,000 out of the Maude Cobb annual budget to not appear.

Nugent has recently come under fire for, among other things, using Nazi imagery to refer to President Barack Obama as a “subhuman mongrel“, drawing criticism from Texas Republicans, including Governor Rick Perry and Senator Ted Cruz.

Longview Public Information Officer Shawn Hara explained that the buy-out would not significantly impact the city’s ability to pay for the festival, but that having Nugent appear was,“not the right feel for this kind of community event.”

so do you think that CNN is hiding the plane some where? after all if they find the plane, CNN will have nothing to cover--what then? Polling lacs are typically in neighborhoods. Photo ID stations are not.

Count how many photo ID centers there are in your country versus the number of polling places.

So when Republicans passed their voter photo ID laws, why didn't they direct voter registration offices to offer photo IDs?

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 update: MSNBC blasts CNN and Fox News coverage

Cable wars: Chris Hayes and Chuck Todd call out competitors for ridiculous "news" coverage of the missing flight

Of course the lack of information regarding the flight hasn’t stopped outlets like CNN and Fox News from spending an inordinate amount of time reporting on the tragedy. It is disaster porn in the form of conspiracy theories. Rather than focusing on closure for grieving families, the search has taken on Hollywood-like proportions.

So Barney Frank admitted his own indiscretions and Gobie's reputation put into question Barney Frank's character and judge of character.

But a Republican tapping his foot in a men's bathroom stall is just cause for his resignation.

The missing Malaysia Airlines flight is producing an abundance of coverage, not all of it lucid. While the so called liberal media has hosted some strange speculation regarding the disappearance of the plane, Fox News seems to have cornered the market on crazy talk with two appearances of retired Lt. General Thomas McInerney, unapologetic birther, and general all around whack job who proffered his bizarro world theories on what really happened. And what made it even crazier is that both Sean Hannity and Megyn Kelly took him seriously.

McInerney's conspiratorial delusions include the belief that President Obama was not born in the US and is, therefore, not fit to be commander-in-chief. And that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. He also is convinced that there are radical Islamists in the White House but he just doesn't have their names. He has taken his conspiracies to Fox News where he once informed Bill O'Reilly that the Iraq WMD's had been taken away by the Russians, Chinese, and French. He told Julie Banderas that all Muslim men, between the ages of 18 and 25 should be strip searched before boarding American planes. But that this guy lives in the Twilight Zone doesn't seem to be a problem for Fox who spoke to him twice this week about his, uh, unique perspective on Flight 370.

....Last night McInerney appeared on the Hannity show where he talked about his super, secret squirrel sources whose identity he can't reveal because if he did, they'd have to kill him. Just kidding about that last part - but you get my drift. He asserted that - wait for it - the missing plane has landed in Pakistan. In addition to a lot of other bullshit, he claimed that Boeing and Rolls Royce know what's really going on because they are familiar with the plane's engine system. He also threw in a non-sequitor about "radical Islam."

But the pièce de résistance for the whole thing wasn't McInerney's crazy rant. It was Hannity's reaction that provides the ROFLMAO moment. Hannity said - wait for it - that McInerney is a "serious person" with a "compelling" case. Note that yesterday's coverage, on reality based media, was about the satellite photo which appears to show large objects floating in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Australia - a photo which prompted a sea search in that area which is ongoing. Neither Hannity nor McInerney mentioned that bit of news.

Cue the music from the "X Files." The truth is indeed out there and it isn't coming from Fox News.
