You are so wrong.
There's more oil in America than all Middle Eastern countries combined. That's just one find.
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/american-oil-f...
We have 200 Billion Barrels of easily recoverable oil.
http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2...
Plus trillions of barrels in Oil Shale.
http://ostseis.anl.gov/guide/oilshale/index.c...
And we haven't even talked about the resources of natural gas and clean coal mining.
But getting tired now. Time to call it a day.
You can't drill & get this oil.

It does not flow.

To get the oil out of the rock, you have to heat the rocks to 900 to 1000 degrees.

On average, after mining the rocks, hauling them to the processing facility, you get 10 gallons per ton of rock. a 40,0000 pound truckload would yield less than 5 barrels of oil.

Fifty-six percent of uninsured Americans who plan to get health insurance say they will do so through a government health insurance exchange. That figure has steadily increased since Gallup began tracking uninsured Americans' intentions in October.
But what struck me most was this:
38% say they are more likely to pay the fine the government will assess most Americans who lack health insurance.
That 38 percent generally approximates the conservative fringe of America, you know, the ones who clung to George W. Bush to the bitter end, the ones who believe Obama was born in Kenya, the ones sickened by America's creeping communism. There are probably a handful in that 38 percent who are choosing to pay the fine for non-ideological reasons. But there are many more who are doing so to spite the president.
Because, you see, placing yourself at risk of financial ruin, severe disability, or even death is totally worth it in pursuit of undermining the communist plot hatched at the Heritage Foundation. It's like eating crappy, unhealthy fast food in order to spite liberals. Or refusing to exercise because Michelle Obama.
All these things increase the odds of premature incapacitation or death, and ... that's supposed to make liberals sad? Maybe it does, since we don't think "empathy" is a dirty word. But holding your breath until you die is an odd way to spite your political enemies.

Anything's possible when the federal government strong-arms you into compliance and cost is no object. I suppose you think it's also funny that millions more families have been kicked off their plans that have been able to buy 'new' ones.

Did Obama lie when he said he was born in Kenya? Or, did Obama lie when he said he was born in Hawaii?

Why did Obama lie for two weeks covering up the Al Qaeda attack on the United States in Benghazi?

How did CNN know what that lie would be before the attack began?

Why did Hillary Clinton lie to Congress, lie to the entire country, and lie to Ty Wood's father?

Why did Eric Holder lie to Congress?

Why aren't Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder in prison for lying to Congress?

Sure, every American would be suing themselves every day. I don't eat outside food, no one in my family does. Seems to me every time someone gets food poisoning it is from one of those 'law abiding' licensed kitchens. You are an idiot--yes adults should know the laws-like let's kick the illegal criminals out.

Anyone still supporting rightists connedservative Reaganomics idiotic policies should be committed to a mental health facility.

The middle class in tatters, wages so low people working fulltime are still on govt aid, jobs outsourced, weak unions, no worker rights... the U$A has been made by Republicans a craphole, a 2nd-tier society, inferior in every way but militarily to every other developed nation.

Climate scientist’s lawsuit could wipe out conservative National Review magazine

The National Review magazine, longstanding house news organ of the establishment right, is facing a lawsuit that could shutter the publication permanently. According to The Week, a suit by a climate scientist threatens to bankrupt the already financially shaky publication and its website, the National Review Online (NRO).

Scientist Michael Mann is suing the Review over statements made by Canadian right-wing polemicist and occasional radio stand-in for Rush Limbaugh, Mark Steyn. Steyn was writing on the topic of climate change when he accused Mann of falsifying data and perpetuating intellectual fraud through his research.

Steyn went on to quote paid anti-climate science operative Rand Simberg — an employee of the right-wing think tank the Competitive Enterprise Institute — who compared Mann to Penn State’s convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky.

Mann, Simberg said, is “the Jerry Sandusky of climate science, except that instead of molesting children, he has molested and tortured data.”

Mann sued for defamation. Steyn and the Review vowed to fight the suit, given that defamation is notoriously difficult to prove in court.

“My advice to poor Michael is to go away and bother someone else,” said Review editor Rich Lowry.“If he doesn’t have the good sense to do that, we look forward to teaching him a thing or two about the law and about how free debate works in a free country.”

As the case has played out, however, Lowry’s hubris has proven to be unwarranted.

“In July,” wrote The Week’s Damon Linker,“Judge Natalia Combs Greene rejected a motion to dismiss the suit. The defendants appealed, and last week D.C. Superior Court Judge Frederick Weisberg rejected the motion again, opening the door for the discovery phase of the lawsuit to begin.”

The Review, which has run at a loss since it was founded on money inherited by William F. Buckley, Jr. in 1955, appealed to readers and supporters for help paying its rapidly mounting legal bills.
