Kim Jong Un's executed uncle was eaten alive by 120 hungry dogs: report
By Eric Baculinao and Alexander Smith, NBC News
BEIJING -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's powerful uncle was stripped naked, thrown into a cage, and eaten alive by a pack of ravenous dogs, according to a newspaper with close ties to China's ruling Communist Party.
The report could not be independently confirmed by NBC News on Friday.
The man who was believed to be in charge of training his young nephew to take over was executed as a traitor, indicating a shake-up in Kim Jong Un's regime. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.
Jang Song Thaek, who had been considered Kim's second-in-command, was executed last month after being found guilty of "attempting to overthrow the state," North Korea’s state-run news agency reported.
The official North Korean account on Dec. 12 did not specify how Jang was put to death.
Hong Kong-based pro-Beijing newspaper Wen Wei Po reported that Jang and his five closest aides were set upon by 120 hunting hounds which had been starved for five days.
Kim and his brother Kim Jong Chol supervised the one-hour ordeal along with 300 other officials, according to Wen Wei Po. The newspaper added that Jang and other aides were "completely eaten up."
The newspaper has acted as a mouthpiece for China's Communist Party. The report may be a sign of the struggle between those in the party who want to remain engaged with North Korea and those who would like to distance themselves from Kim's regime.
The youngest son of Kim Jong Il succeeded his late father in 2011, becoming the third member of his family to rule the unpredictable and reclusive communist state.
Jang was seen by many experts as a regent behind North Korea's Kim dynasty and a key connection between the hermit nation and its ally China.
In the highly scripted execution, North Korea accused him of "attempting to overthrow the state by all sorts of intrigues and despicable methods with a wild ambition to grab the supreme power of our party and state."
Kim's government also accused him of of corruption, womanizing, gambling and taking drugs, and referred to him as "despicable human scum."
Jang was married to Kim's aunt, Kim Kyong Hui, the younger sister of Kim Jong Il.
Alexander Smith reported from London.
So, when is Dennis Rodman scheduled to vacation there again? Maybe someone should remind them that we gave them a basketball signed by Michael Jordan, and they are obligated to be civilized now.

My God you're a fool.
More moslem-phobia from the stupid right.
It isn't moslem-phobia if they are trying to kill you. Take the first guy for instance: Arif Alikhan-Alikhan was responsible for derailing the LAPD's efforts to monitor activities within the city’s Muslim community, where numerous radical mosques and madrassas were known to exist, and where some of the 9/11 hijackers had received support from local residents. Aren't you the fool? those dead Americans in NYC would think so. Most Americans do not know a damn thing about Islam, just like you--there is why it is certain there will be another moslem attack, then what? will you applaud again? or maybe you can try to blame Israel and the Jews again?

A new study published in the journal Science shows Medicaid patients went to the ER 40 percent more often, on average, often for conditions that could be treated less expensively at the doctor’s office or an urgent care clinic.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO You God Damn idiots are too f*cking stupid to get it.

I heat my home yet burn no gas, oil, wood, etc.

People can actually drive a car with over 40 MPGs.

Coal fired plants being replaced with cleaner gas fired plans.

Buildings can be built greener.

So according to you, a Patriotic defender of the American way, the Supreme Court is incompetent, the President is a fraud and Congress is corrupt.
Has it ever occurred to you that spending countless hours trashing the three branches of the government you profess to defend might appear odd?
I never said the Supreme Court is incompetent. What I said was the Supreme Court is schizophrenic and ignores the Constitution to suit pollitical whims.
The current president is a fraud. He's most likely not even a citizen (at least in 1981 he couldn't have been a US citizen). He's a college dropout from Occidental College that followed his boyfriend (who actually did transfer from Occidental to Columbia) to New York where there hasn't been found anyone who ever saw him on the campus, and with high-level connections in the Communist Party USA got admitted to Harvard where he became the very first editor of any Ivy League law review to never publish a single word in the history of Ivy League law schools. He has never even seen the inside of a courtroom as a lawyer. We don't even know what his name is. This reminds me of a question you never answered:
Was Obama lying when he said he was born in Kenya? Or, was Obama lying when he said he was born in Hawaii?
Congress is corrupt. Any argument there?

Now, back to the issue.
The Constitution was written in a way so even someone like you can easily read and understand it. The reason for this is, governments, by their very nature, seek to become totalitarian. We have a system of government written into our Constitution where the government serves the people, and the people do not serve the government. Should the government violate the Constitution and attempt to make you a subject, you can read the Constitution and understand very well what the government should be doing, and should not be doing.

Did you know that over 75% of the people of the United States are on at least one long term pharma. OMG OMG O'bama care will get even more people on pharma. Chemical lobotomies galore. But that is what the left wants. The producers of Ritalin are the number two contributor to public schools behind the government in the USA. Don't worry you will see the amount of drugs dispersed taken away from the people because of O'bamacare, eating fast food and 'corm' will be the least of your worries. Now take your pills and shut the F*ck up. O'bamacare.

The amount of mercury in a CFL is far less than the mercury released into the atmosphere in generating the extra amount of electricity to run conventional incandescent bulbs over the lifetime of that CFL.
"If" is a big word.

Like "if" DumbDave knew what he was talking about, people wouldn't laugh so much and so hard.

For one, the lifespan claims made for CFL's are a joke. I found this out first hand with my first purchase. I was replacing them every 6 months to a year. So, if an incandescent last 10-20 times longer than a CFL, your claim might come true.

This is funny, isn't it? I mean...REALLY humorous!

Secondly, "If disposed of properly, the mercury is not released." is also really funny, DumbDave. Do you *REALLY* expect millions of Urban Reservation Resident Moochers to care about recycling their used CFLs?

That's about as funny as expecting them to recycle used needles after shooting up.

You watch WAY too much TV, Dood. Try reading a book once in awhile.

By Jim Geraghty, The National Review

From the last Morning Jolt of the week:

Fifty States of Obamacare Confusion, Stress, and Aggravation

No matter where you live in the United States, Obamacare is causing headaches, stress, and aggravation for someone near you.

In New Hampshire, vending-machine manufacturers are gasping at the new law’s requirements that calorie information be displayed on roughly 5 million vending machines – not just on the packaging of the food inside, but on the vending machine itself:

Carol Brennan, who owns Brennan Food Vending Services in Londonderry, said she doesn’t yet know how she will handle the regulations, but she doesn’t like them. She has five employees servicing hundreds of machines and says she’ll be forced to limit the items offered so her employees don’t spend too much time updating the calorie counts.

“It is outrageous for us to have to do this on all our equipment,” she said.

Brennan also doubts that consumers will benefit from the calorie information.

“How many people have not read a label on a candy bar?” she said.“If you’re concerned about it, you’ve already read it for years.”

To the Obama administration and their fans, America’s businesses are giant, bottomless barrels of money, time, and energy whose purpose in life is to be directed and redirected at the whims of those wise folks in Washington, in order to achieve the visionary “social justice” goal of telling people that, say, a candy bar isn’t nutritious or healthy for them.

In most states, the current worst stress and headache stems from people who think they’ve signed up for insurance through the state or federal exchanges but who haven’t yet gotten their confirmation or insurance cards from the insurance companies.

then you guys should quit voting for republicans who advocate for big government whilst ignoring the Constitution.

Tea Party: Drug Tests for Everyone!

Perhaps the Tea Party is not the shiny new force for libertarianism on the American political scene it often claims. Promoting big government when it comes to moral and cultural issues makes the Tea Party seem like just the latest incarnation of the New Right and the Moral Majority so popular in the 1980s and '90s.

And it's not just outlier elected officials in Florida. Some in Congress have proposed a similar bill to require drug testing of all federal welfare recipients. It's unlikely to pass--and even if it does, that law, like Florida's, is almost certain to be struck down in court.

Which raises another question for the Tea Party. If the goal is to reduce government expenditures and protect taxpayer money, why are we passing laws that will cost the government valuable resources to defend even though they are almost certain to be invalidated?
