Barack Obama, our next President

Full story: Hampton Roads Daily Press

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned. Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated ...

The last several election, the voters failed us,so we can't blame it all on Obama.

Admitted yesterday I regretted having brought up the nude photos since there is no real proof it was Ann Dunham.

If the striking similarities between Davis and Obama is just a coincidence, then so be it. But to flat out deny it is believing one's lying eyes instead. The sad reality is the truth may never be known. It's just another part of Obama's concealed past.

To those on the right, this is OK & not the fault of the shooter who broke several NW rules & never identified himself.
I'm not a Republican so that excuse is a wash.....and a teenager walking home should just continued to walk home...making a decision to confront and then play the badass thug and attack the guy watching him because they had had break ins in the neighborhood and he is just trying to keep an eye on things for his neighborhood was NOT what an innocent teenager just walking home would do. He had the chance to "just walk home" and he chose a different tactic.....didn't work out for him.

Not to surprised he would be considered a "hero" to those that never see fault in a black person if anyone of another race is involved....and yet, where are all these black leaders and all the uproar over black teachers cheating black children out of an education by cheating on their test scores? Where are all these black leaders and all the uproar over the black on black killings that occur daily in Chicago.....killing ALOT of innocent by-standers that are just trying to walk home? Where are all the black leaders and all the uproar from the left about the "knock out game" that should be trying to tell their youth that if they don't want to be looked at and treated like thugs....then STOP acting like thugs? It is not too surprising that those that would speak out NONE on those issues would find a hero in someone like Martin.

Still trying to blame Fannie and Freddie Carol? They didn't make loans they purchased them and they were after all rated as AAA by ratings groups like Standard and Poor's and Moody's. Why did these agencies rate these shaky loans so high? Because they were paid to. There was also a housing bubble with the same consequences in Britain, Ireland and Iceland and last time I looked Fannie and Freddie weren't operating in those countries. There was also a bubble in commercial real estate which Fannie and Freddie didn't have anything to do with.
Oh by the way that Democratic congressman, William J. Jefferson was a piker compared to Republican Duke Cunningham who was convicted of accepting at least $2.4 million in bribes. There was also Bob Ney (R OH) who got his palms greased by Jack Abramoff in his Indian casino scams. Let's not forget Rick Renzi who was convicted by a jury on 17 of 32 counts in his corruption case that accused him of using his office for personal financial gain and looting a family insurance business to help pay for his 2002 campaign.
At least Carol didn't think Sweden is doing "just fine" when they were having their 5th day of RIOTS!

Are you still trying to prove you are not a moron?

Now, back to the post you continually run away from:

You keep running away from the fact that the Democrats supported the war in Iraq in exchange for the Republicans giving them no effective oversight of their Marxist CRA program that collapsed our economy after two years oversight by Demcorats Dodd and Frank, from whom we heard a constant stream of lies right up to the collapse.
It was only after the Republicans had given the Democrats everything they possibly could that the Democrats reversed their propaganda and opposed the war in Iraq.
Dealing with Democrats is like living with a rattle snake. You know it's going to bite you. You just don't know when.
Now, back to the original issue you ran away from:
After the Democrats took control of all the purse strings of government, they increased the deficit ONE THOUSAND PERCENT and DOUBLED the debt.

Where will the money come from to pay for Obama's government?

By the way, why don't you tell us why our government has been so incompetent since Obama was made president, it can't even budget itself.

I don't think it's her attempt at humor. Rightwingers have no sense of humor; the only things they seem to find funny are human suffering. Bunch of sickos.

Book Club: Fox News’ Election Night Fail

The assault against what became known as the conservative media cocoon began swiftly.“Unreal,” George W. Bush’s former chief strategist, Matthew Dowd, tweeted later that Wednesday.“Nearly every piece of data for last 3 weeks pointed to Romney loss. Ray Charles could have seen it coming.” Hume had offered the closest his network’s viewers would receive to a fair-minded note of warning from a non-Democrat.“The state polls portray Obama ahead. And there are a lot of them.” But even he had called the race a tie a few weeks ahead of the election.

Conservatives had taken it on faith that Democratic voter turnout would replicate the deflated levels of 2010, and not the much higher levels of 2008. And Republican professionals had trashed polling altogether.

One aspiring conservative Virginia political consultant set up a blog promising to “unskew” the polls—readjusting them to what he thought they should look like. The polls were the newest front in the all-out war on journalistic bias.

Jon Huntsman Sr., a chemical company billionaire and father of the former Utah governor and failed Republican presidential candidate, took Fox to task during an interview on the channel itself.“I just think the Republican Party was misled by Dick Morris and Karl Rove and these folks,” Huntsman told Fox’s Neil Cavuto.“I am an avid Fox News fan, but, you know, Intrade and ...[the New York Times’s] Nate Silver—and all these polling services had it right, except Fox. And they lulled us to sleep.”

Huntsman said he wasn’t criticizing the network—in part because he viewed it as “entertainment.”

Huntsman’s categorization of Fox—as entertainment—was being adopted by its corporate owners too.

So I guess you're saying Hillary is an old coot and too old to run.
As far as approval ratings, isn't Obama hovering around 37% right now?
I guess he was a bad choice too according to your logic?

The most pressing concerns are this president's policies and his determination to believe the nation's future centers entirely around him...even now when he's grasping at straws to doggedly pursue that belief.

You'd think he'd be an active participant and on top of the goings on in his own administration in that endeavor rather than watching it from the sidelines and then being surprised by the incompetency.

He doesn't seem to connect the incompetency as his own as long as he can give a good speech and distance himself from it.

This is a spectator president who doesn't want to get his hands dirty insuring his own legacy and hasn't figured out yet it's only in his mind.
