Looks like the trained stock market analysts nailed it, looks like Flack and Galt might as well have been bloing each other.

Unleaded Reg under $3.00 in many parts of the nation__beer pries holding steady (about the same as when this thread started). Household electric also holding steady, Nat'l gas and LP gas down dramatically.

Hmmph__after five years the Republicon drama queens on this thread are still batting zero__make that zero with a O.

At some point one might wonder how those experts (mutts) can even afford to hang out here.

New York!

Medicaid Fraud!

Starts at the top!

Non-Profits sure do pay well...

"The Committee has also uncovered
excessive salaries being paid to executives of
nonprofit institutions that are nearly completely
financed by Medicaid. A simple analysis conducted by the Committee found that at least 15 of these executives received yearly compensation exceeding $500,000 and at least 100 others received
yearly compensation exceeding $200,000."

Gimmedats come in all shapes and incomes...

"As a long-time employee of the local Medicaid office, I have had the opportunity
to witness the diversion of applicants’ significant resources in order to obtain Medicaid coverage. It is not at all unusual to encounter individuals and couples with resources [beyond exempt resources] exceeding $500,000, some with over $1 million. There is no attempt to hide that this money exists; there is no need. There are various legal means to prevent those funds from being used to pay for the applicant’s nursing home care. Wealthy applicants for Medicaid’s nursing home coverage consider that benefit to be their right, regardless of their ability to pay themselves.
...
[I]ndividuals with resources above and beyond the level prescribed by law should not be allowed to fund their children’s inheritance while the taxpayers fund their nursing home care. I strongly believe that this is not a partisan issue. I also believe in the merits of the Medicaid program, but feel just as deeply that these issues regarding resource diversion need to be addressed."

No one wants Obama to make choices for us.
His choices cost a lot more and force us to pay for things we neither want or need.
And he can't stop lying to us - about everything.
It's not that hard to understand really.
People who make bad choices never want to pay the piper when confronted with the price of their bad judgment. I would rather Obama make choices for you now than having the tax payer pick up the tab for your medical needs later because you had lousy insurance.

Slackers are far worse than those who desire health insurance but can't afford it. I have absolutely no sympathy for those who purchased lousy insurance AFTER the ACA was passed believing they could circumvent the law. NONE.

Progressive Gubbymint in action!

Living like kings!!!

"The Committee has found that federal taxpayers
have subsidized lavish lifestyles for many
executives in organizations that receive almost all of their funding through Medicaid. The Committee’s oversight work in this area was informed by an August 2011 New York Time article that exposed how top executives at the Young Adult Institute (YAI)–
a nonprofit that runs group homes for the developmentally disabled–used Medicaid funds to lease luxury cars,to paytuition bills and living expenses for their children, and to reward themselves with generous compensation packages.
53 In fact, four executives at the YAI(Phillip Levy, Joel Levy, Tom Dern, and Stephen Freeman) each
received compensati on in excess of $1 million in 2008, with money derived almost entirely from Medicaid."
