You not only have to worry about the people who don't see you, you have to worry about the people who see you and don't care if they run over you.<quoted text>
Don't have to worry about me wanting to be safe on the motorcycle. I've instructed my husband numerous times about not passing unless it's absolutely necessary, making sure there's absolutely no one in the other lane if he does and keeping a good distance behind cars in front of him.
He's safety conscientious too so, hopefully, we'll be okay. But there ARE crazy drivers out there and you always have to be on the lookout for them. I won't be riding with him that often.
But who knew we both shared the same love of thrift stores? Nucular doesn't know what he's missing.
There are crazy drivers out there. One of the rules I use is, if I see an Obama sticker on a car, I get as far away from it as I can. I can recall a lot of instances when some eco-friendly compact car almost ran over me, but I can't recall one instance where a pickup truck being driven by someone wearing a straw hat or baseball cap almost ran over me.
Ride safe. We want to see you again tomorrow. ;-)
