House Republican Shames GOP Members On Stalled Immigration Reform

Denham said during an event Thursday for think tank NDN -- which supports immigration reform -- that he blames both sides for the past failure of comprehensive immigration reform. But he had harsh words for GOP members who criticized other plans without suggesting their own.

"You're elected to be a leader. Then lead," he said of fellow members of Congress. "Show us what you're for, show us what you don't like, but we've got to come to a resolution that makes sense for the entire country, and we need to have a debate in front of the American public."

Bush's long history of tilting Justice
The administration began skewing federal law enforcement before the current U.S. attorney scandal, says a former Department of Justice lawyer.
THE SCANDAL unfolding around the firing of eight U.S. attorneys compels the conclusion that the Bush administration has rewarded loyalty over all else. A destructive pattern of partisan political actions at the Justice Department started long before this incident, however, as those of us who worked in its civil rights division can attest.
I spent more than 35 years in the department enforcing federal civil rights laws — particularly voting rights. Before leaving in 2005, I worked for attorneys general with dramatically different political philosophies — from John Mitchell to Ed Meese to Janet Reno. Regardless of the administration, the political appointees had respect for the experience and judgment of longtime civil servants.
Under the Bush administration, however, all that changed. Over the last six years, this Justice Department has ignored the advice of its staff and skewed aspects of law enforcement in ways that clearly were intended to influence the outcome of elections.
It has notably shirked its legal responsibility to protect voting rights. From 2001 to 2006, no voting discrimination cases were brought on behalf of African American or Native American voters. U.S. attorneys were told instead to give priority to voter fraud cases, which, when coupled with the strong support for voter ID laws, indicated an intent to depress voter turnout in minority and poor communities.

No one is even talking about the hidden marriage tax in Obamacare.

A married couple who earns $62,040 or less for a family of two receives subsidies under Obamacare.

A married couple who earns just a dollar more, 62,041, could pay as much as $5000 or more in premiums.

Saying "I do" would cost some couples over $10,000 a year. The solution? Get a divorce.

Empty-nesters would pay an effective tax of $5,000 to $10,000 per year for the right to remain married.

Just a month ago, Democratic unity helped dispense a Republican-led effort to defund or delay the Affordable Care Act, their demands contributing to a government shutdown and threat of default on the national debt that badly damaged the GOP in the polls.

But the persistent difficulties with Healthcare.gov , anemic enrollment numbers during the first month for the insurance exchanges and a spate of canceled policies on top of Obama’s vow to allow people to keep their plans has compounded political difficulties facing the administration.

Just a month after the shutdown, Republicans are playing offense, and Democrats are on defense.

Obama's theme song:

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow.

HOLIDAY SCAM - BEWARE! Please BE WARNED! Over the last month I have become a victim of a clever 'Eastern European' scam whilst out shopping. Simply dropping into Walmart for a bit of shopping turned out to be quite an experience. Don't be nieve enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends! Here's how the scam works: Two very good-looking 20-21 year-old girls of eastern European origin come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start cleaning your windscreen, their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T- shirts. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they'll say 'No' and instead they ask you for a lift to another store, in my case, Target. You agree and they both get in the back seat. On the way there, they start undressing, until both are completely naked. Then, when you pull over to remonstrate, one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over your lap, kissing you, touching you intimately and thrusting herself against you, while the other one steals your wallet! I had my wallet stolen on October 4th, 9th,10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th and 29th. Also on November 1st, 4th, 6th, 9th and 10th and twice yesterday. So please warn all the older men you know to be on the lookout for this scam. The best times seem to be just before lunch and about 4:30 in the afternoon. P.S. Aldi have cheap wallets on sale for $1.99 each but Dollar General wallets are $1.75 and look better!! Happy Shopping!
Now we know why you keep going to Wallyworld everyday. American men are so damn stupid, you deserve it
