According to the current interpretation of the 14th Amendment, anyone born here is not an illegal alien, idiot.

How can a person who violated the immigration law be awarded citizenship? Shouldn't they be prosecuted for violating that law instead of rewarded for violating that law with citizenship?

The accurate term is "illegal alien".

Video Of White Supremacist Learning He Is 14 Percent Black May Be The Best Thing Ever

A white supremacist behind an initiative to turn a North Dakota town into a "white enclave" received some shocking news -- he's not 100 percent white.

Craig Cobb, a 62-year-old man who has aimed to start a community for white supremacists and neo-Nazis, received some news that he wasn't too happy about, although we must admit, it gave us quite a chuckle.

During an appearance on The Trisha Goddard Show, Cobb was given the results of a DNA Diagnostics test and found out he is 14 percent Sub-Saharan African, and it was all caught on camera.

so when do you think the republicans in congress will get around to 'governing'? you'd have to be a real nutjob to think that doing nothing but saying no is related to real governance. so if you want to talk about MOST....

I think I may be able to answer your question. 2007-2008 was the critical mass of several bad policies coming together.
Such as, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loan guarantees which had to be covered by the U.S. taxpayer to cover bad loans. During the Bush years multiple attempts by the Bush Administration to reign in practices being used were totally resisted by Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd. Barney Frank was very bombastic is claiming republican fears and warnings were only the republican party wanted to deny black people and less fortunate owning their own home. Due to the number of Democrats in Congress NO corrections were made.
The rest is history.
The housing collapse had a huge effect on causing the recession.
Total crap, it's been debunked a thousand times.

Jon Stewart had a field day Monday mocking both "60 Minutes" for airing a discredited report on the attack in Benghazi, Libya and a Republican senator who exploited the segment.

After what initially appeared to be an explosive report turned out to be "total bullsh*t," Stewart took on "60 Minutes," which he said "sort of acknowledged" the error on Sunday.

Stewart found it amusing that the program finally considered the "is it true question" after the Benghazi report aired.

The "Daily Show" host also noted that "60 Minutes" is "not the only victim here." Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) hyped the report, which spurred his vow to block every Obama administration appointee until survivors of the Benghazi attack testify before Congress.

The senator's response to the "60 Minutes" retraction gave Stewart an excuse to employ his finest southern accents.

How CBS' Coverage Of Benghazi Has Been Troubling For A Year

Appearing on All In With Chris Hayes, David Brock and Steven Reiner discussed how 60 Minutes statement was lacking, how CBS and the mainstream media amplify Republican lies, parallels to the 2004 CBS National Guard controversy, and Lara Logan's prior call for military action in Benghazi.

Clinton's Republican Congress proposed the Contract with America. Most of it was either signed by Clinton or negotiated and signed.
Republicans were mindful to leave out controversial issues such as abortion and school prayer.
(Which should end the false accusations of conservatives forcing anyone to believe anything.)
A sweeping welfare reform bill was passed by Clinton's Republican Congress and was signed into law by Clinton.
It was Clinton who raised taxes. 18 months later, the Office of Management and Budget issued projections of deficits for the next five years.
Clinton's reversal on government spending and a booming economy was the result of genuine fiscal restraint. Government spending only increased by an average of just 2.9% over a four-year period in the mid-1990s.
The balanced budgets of the Clinton years didn't occur until after a Republican Congress passed and the president reluctantly signed a 1997 tax bill that lowered the capital gains rate from 28% to 20%, added a child tax credit, and established higher limits on tax exclusion for IRAs and estates.
Clinton was credited for a successful economy and, of course, deserves it as the president who went along with his conservative congress.
That success was based on Republicans proposing and passing a tax bill and lowering taxes which Clinton signed and was probably why he announced in a State of the Union Address "The era of big government is over!"
Did you get all of that?
You're full of crap again Carol! Only three of the proposals in the Contract with America were signed by Clinton. Three were successfully vetoed by him with one veto being overridden. One proposal, the line item veto was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. So in all only three proposals ever made it into law.
Clinton’s major contribution was pushing through the 1993 budget bill, which began to reduce what had become a chronic string of federal deficits. Republicans denounced it as the "largest tax increase in history," though in fact it was not a record and also contained some cuts in projected spending. Republican Rep. Newt Gingrich predicted: "The tax increase will kill jobs and lead to a recession, and the recession will force people off of work and onto unemployment and will actually increase the deficit." But just the opposite happened. Fears of inflation waned and interest rates fell, making money cheaper to borrow for homes, cars and investment. What had been a slow economic recovery turned into a roaring boom, bringing in so much unanticipated tax revenue from rising incomes and stock-market gains that the government actually was running record surpluses by the time Clinton left office.
You were a history teacher? Really?
