Now the shutdown cost us imaginary jobs.
If only he had been willing to negotiate...

The shutdown could have been avoided if he had agreed to a delay before it happened instead of afterwards.

But continuing to blame Republicans after five years is a hard habit to break. Even with a democratic-controlled Congress for the first two years, he still blamed Republicans.

We can only imagine how hard it must be to break the addiction now.

I see no positives from the dollars taken from citizens that are pissed away on tax-exempt groups like Catholic Charities to subsidize their "charitable" work. It much better to spend those millions to support social welfare programs than help the Catholic church build up its coffers.
What positive effect have we had in the last 5 years from all the grants and loan guarantees to energy companies like Solyndra?

What positive effect have we had in the last 5 years from all the foreign aid (mega billions)?

Why was Carter a terrible president?
Tell us exactly what he did to be considered "terrible".
In other words, provide us details. Facts. What decisions did Carter take which make him a bad president?
The list is a very long one but can we start with his blaming the American public for his failings in his famous “malaise” speech?

Carter, The Loser-In-Chief, was so much like the Magic Negro of today. He was told, as we must tell the Asshole-In-Chief right now, that "Mr. President, you are not leading this nation -- you're just managing the government." and doing a shit-ass job of it at that.

You are right all Christians are not "evangelical" but "evangelical" Christians, for the most part, are tax and spend liberals, spending for handouts. They are touchie feelie folks. It is their right. We do not need generations of those with their hands out, we need folks who get out, work, produce and take care of their own.
Peace
lol! What you need and what you want are apparently co-mingled in your mind son.

What you forget it the Constitution overrides your touchie feelie issues!

Now you are being dishonest. I am Roman Catholic and do not apologize for that fact. But I challenge you to bring up a post where I support abortion/murder or gay marriage. Just one. I have better things to do. You are wrong again when you say I do not recognize the Socialist nature of my church. I would far rather give monies to my church rather than the Federal government, I see the results of our giving to folks in need. I see no positives from the dollars taken from citizens that are pissed away on failed social, fill their hands programs. Those programs do just one thing, build on the sit on your fannie mantra that far to many American's depend on.

We shoulda sent you that memo--never tell libuhrulTIC velveteenage postuh entitlementalycase ozombiebot worshippers, that you might have any "religious" type affiliations...Especially RC.
It short circuits their one dysfunctional bwain cell.

(Wow...listening to a cousin of the POTUS speaking right now...he's not a fan of the american communist act in it's current communist type format-imagine that.)

Mercy, mercy, maybe the kids on the DC hill will get a CLUE pretty soon-and REDO the aca, placing it into givverment social offices where it belongs with the REST of the givverment social services, rather than reaking havoc on the free sector markets and the people thereof, and breaching HIPPA and Constitutional rights on oh so hackable public webs.

You wouldn't "see" the positives of true charities at work like that splayed around for the world to see (as so much is done these days) because they are done NOT for "stage show" accolades, but rather instead Quietly, for RIGHT reasons in the RIGHT ways.

Racist organizations like the NAACP should not be funded at the public trough, either, boy.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_funds_the_NAACP...

ACORN, another racist organization, was stuffing its face at the Federal trough, too.

LOTS of racist organizations suck the taxpayer dry. Wake up or shut up, baby.
