States have always had say so over insurance companies babe, does the office of insurance regulation ring a bell? Hah, you might have gone to school with that guy too.
And didn't even know it.
What we have here is a lack of communication.

Whenever I use the word "state" these days, I'm talking about the power elite, the inner circle, etc. Not state as in the 50 states.

But your misunderstanding was understandable. My fault.

The power elite have decided what we will have in our insurance whether we need it or want it or not.

Do you want the elite few...the power elite...the inner circle...deciding what you MUST have and make that kind of decision for you?

You're an idiot Carol!

To date over 4 million American's have had there insurance cancelled. They will be forced to find new carriers. Their new insurance will cost more and offer fewer benefits.

Over 4 million people have lost their insurance - not because THEY didn't like their plan but because THIS ADMINISTRATION didn't like their plan.

How on God's green earth can you or anyone else be okay with that?

And that number is going to continue to grow.

I can't imagine any Republican administration deciding what all Americans MUST have whether they want or need it or not and Americans losing insurance they want because a Republican administration didn't want them to have it.

Can you?

After even more instances of plagiarism have come out, Rand Paul finally admitted that his office made “mistakes.” Well you certainly didn’t make any mistakes in copying stuff—you usually seem to get everything word for word. The good news is that Rand Paul’s admissions about the plagiarizing don’t seem to have been copied from anyone else. There must have been a great temptation to just go back and use whatever Joe Biden said about plagiarism back in 1988. Paul said “This is coming from haters to begin with.” Haters? Rand, you’re thinking about running for president of the United States. Your public statements shouldn’t sound like a quote from Kanye West. Wait! Maybe what Rand Paul said there WAS a quote from Kanye West! Somebody do a search of everything that’s been said about “haters” by Kanye, Li’l Kim, and Miley Cyrus .

Ron Paul Basically Called for Armed Revolution This Week
"Jefferson obviously was a clear leader on the principle of nullification," the former Texas congressman said of the third president. "I’ve been working on the assumption that nullification is going to come. It’s going to be a de facto nullification. It’s ugly, but pretty soon things are going to get so bad that we’re just going to ignore the feds and live our own lives in our own states."
....He tore into the Constitution’s 17th Amendment. Ratified in 1913, it’s the one that allows for the direct election of U.S. senators by popular vote. "That undermined the principle importance of the states," said Paul.
He criticized the 16th Amendment, which allowed the federal income tax. After the crowd chanted "End the Fed," Paul decried the printing of more money by the Federal Reserve. "We need someone to stand up to the authoritarians," he said. "They’re dictators."
....He stressed that the constitutional "right to keep and bear arms" was not for hunting, but to allow rebellion against tyrannical governments. "The Second Amendment was not there so you could shoot rabbits," he said. "Right now today, we have a great threat to our liberties internally."

If not for the Bush-Ryan recession we would not have needed to talk about Cash for Clunkers or stimulus actions. The original stimulus bill was not large enough to find the strength of the Bush recession. As it started to run out, more was needed but Republicans refused to help the economy. They wanted the economy to remain poor as long as possible in order to help them in the 2012 elections.

Where are the national protest what no one cares for this Woman More details are emerging about the mysterious death of 19-year-old Renisha McBride, who left her Detroit home Friday night and never returned.
Dearborn police had said they found McBride’s body “dumped” on the outskirts of Detroit in suburban Dearborn Heights.
Local FOX affiliate WJBK even gave the exact location of where McBride’s body was found: near Warren and Outer Drive.
McBride had been shot once in the head with a shotgun and left to die, police told her anguished aunt, Bernita Spinks.
“All our kids are getting killed. We’re burying our kids. It’s devastating,” Spinks told Fox 2. She pleaded with the public to help identify her niece’s killer(s).“Just as well as it’s my niece and my sister’s daughter, it could be your kid,” she said.
Now police are telling an entirely different story about what happened to Renisha.
Police now say McBride was shot by a homeowner in a case of self-defense.
Her body was not dumped near Warren and Outer Drive in Deerborn Heights, as police had earlier reported; now they say she was found on the man’s front porch where she dropped after he shot her in defense of his home.
Her family says that’s a lie.
“This man just came to the door, by somebody just knocking? She didn’t break in his house; she didn’t break a window. What, you seen somebody on your porch and you just start shooting? And then you say it was accidental? That wasn’t accidental; that wasn’t accidental, no,” said Spinks.
The family doesn’t know where McBride was headed when she left home that Friday in her white Ford Taurus. They were notified of McBride’s death that following Monday.
Police have identified the homeowner who shot McBride. He has not been charged.
McBride’s family calls her death “senseless.” The family described Renisha as “soft spoken, hardworking and stayed to herself.” They say no one would be afraid of Renisha.

America loses

Colorado fights off avaricious teachers unions:

"At a certain point you take risk, but then you look at the reward," said Hickenlooper, a Democrat, as election night ballots revealed a stark statewide rebuke of the $1 billion income tax increase for education the governor staunchly supported. "And the opportunity to define Colorado as the national model for public education ... that reward more than justified the risk of going out there with again — in a difficult year — a tax increase."
