Sure Carol, and big insurance have never overruled a doctors decision and denied needed treatment have they? let's take a look at the case of Nataline Sarkisyan. She was diagnosed with leukemia at age 14. After two years of treatment, the cancer went into remission. But in summer 2007 it came back and doctors said Nataline needed a bone-marrow transplant. Her only sibling, 21-year-old Peter, was a match, and he donated his bone marrow the day before Thanksgiving.
But Natalie developed a complication and, because her liver was failing, doctors recommended a transplant, saying she had a 65 percent chance of surviving.
CIGNA denied the transplant, telling doctors in a memo the procedure was "experimental, investigational and unproven services."
CIGNA eventually reversed its decision after public outcry but it was too late as her condition had worsened to the point that she died hours after the surgery. If that young woman had received her surgery in a timely manner then she might very well be alive today.
Let's take the case of Crystal Lee Sutton who was the inspiration for the film Norma Rae. Several years ago, Sutton was diagnosed with meningioma, a type of cancer of the nervous system. While such cancers are typically slow-growing, Sutton's was not -- and she went two months without potentially life-saving medication because her insurance wouldn't cover it initially. Though Sutton eventually received the medication, the cancer had already taken hold. She passed away in a Burlington, N.C. hospice.
Contrary to Dr. Carson's lies the ACA makes these kind of abuses less likely to occur.
Norma Rae had bad genes! Wasn't her 2nd child, the illegitimate one, Forrest Gump.
Even today, 4 years after her death, the Mayo Clinic says drug treatment for meningioma in ineffective.

Flacktard knows that going to the ER is not healthcare. Healthcare is regular check up & regular monitoring of a persons over all well being by a family doctor.
The truth is Flacktard would run over 5 year old kids if it might save him a buck in taxes.

A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan. Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.
Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.
“This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate,” said Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization.“There’s a lot of resistance. Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”
Three out of four doctors who are participating in the program said they “had to participate” because of existing contractual obligations with an insurer or medical provider, not because they wanted to.
Only one in four “affirmatively” chose to sign up for the exchanges.
Nearly eight in 10 — 77 percent — said they had not been given a fee schedule to show much they’ll get paid if they sign up.

Medicaid and Free Cheese enrollment for healthcare spike threatens entire obamaKare house of cards... The responsible Maker always pays for the irresponsible liberal Taker...

Obamacare wasn’t designed to help healthy people with average incomes get health insurance. It was designed to force those people to pay more for coverage, in order to subsidize insurance for people with incomes near the poverty line, and those with chronic or costly medical conditions."

The Obama administration always knew millions of self sufficient could not keep their health insurance...

Odd, she didn't become Chancellor until Nov. 22, 2005. But then again, maybe the more astute previous administration saw her as an up and coming conservative star.

"Merkel advocated a strong transatlantic partnership and German-American friendship. In the spring of 2003, defying strong public opposition, Merkel came out in favour of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, describing it as "unavoidable" and accusing Chancellor Gerhard Schröder of anti-Americanism." I'll bet she's changed her opinion now that we're stuck with the dithering fool as president.
