A person would have to border insanity to even entertain the idea that Fox was independent. Of course the Tea Baggers long ago surpassed that level. Sooo you think Fox has real men???? Greta is perhaps the most masculine one over there, all are sheep that will say anything in order to keep their jobs. Fox has been voted the most biased station on the air and the one that lies the most. But that's a must for their sheep. Plain and simple.

Just to name a few losers, Easy Eed, Carol, Whatever, Fetch, Flack, looney Surprize, Galt, of course the degree of their hatred has doubled since their latest beat down, their mournful wailing and programmed remaining brain cell is on over time and subject to crack at any moment. They all live in a non-mirrored world, with only the vision to see outside never inside. Kinda sad but there is no corrective device, they are basically doomed to repetitious nonsense for eternity with never a clue.

You are aware that by definition alone a Conservative is one opposed to change, set in their ways, unwilling to compromise, which is why we have different degrees of conservatism, but one needs to be smart enough to draw the line and become a self thinker at some point. Baggers do not possess that ability, you seem like perhaps you do.
According to your childish attempts at definitions, Liberals are conservative in that they refuse to stop taxing, spending and dictating lifestyles to their fellow Americans. Obstinate little bas turds they are. Never change. They fear change. They are conservatives.

Beatings do not constitute steady and level headedness.

Exhibiting common sense, rationality (rather than emotionality) and logicality does.

My parents NEVER had to UNcivilly "beat" us. EVER. They just taught us to "know better" than to even have to go there.

And your post is rather racist... and VERY misconceptualized, because it is not right to "beat" ANYONE, and based on your theoretical example, why does that concept not extend FURTHER..into generla population, rather than just immediate environment.

(because it's Darwinian, animalistic level bullchit, rather than societal CIVILITY as a whole in general-that's why).

“If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal", then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.”
John F Kennedy.
I would rather be a liberal than a hate filled fear driven reactionary like you.
Jesus was a liberal Carol and his overriding message was one of social justice.
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so."
Ronald Reagan

The liberals of JFK's era weren't the same as today. The Democratic Party was hijacked by a more sinister ideology that took hold about the same time JFK was killed.

It has grown into an intolerant and mean-spirited one-party monster that is hell bent on destroying any opposition to it.

And you just keep feeding it.

Your post is nothing but a distorted opinion. Black kids don't have temper tantrums in stores? Baloney. I've seen it happen. Black kids don't cuss out and "diss" their parent(s) or elder guardians? Baloney, I've seen it happen.

Steady, level-headed approach to parenting? What's the percentage of single parent homes for AA children, 70-75%? How many AA kids have no clue who their dad is? Facts you may not want to hear, but facts regardless.

Parents today, regardless of skin color, don't discipline their children, they try to be their best friends. Maybe one reason is a swat on your child's bottom will land you in jail.

It's not that simple Carol. The seeds of the Great Depression were planted much earlier at the end of WWI when American agriculture boomed by selling its excess produce to Europe whose own food producing capability was devastated. Farmers took out massive loans to increase their acreage and invested in equipment to handle this demand. US manufacturing also boomed for much the same reason. When Western Europe started to recover the demand for American produce fell off and farmers had trouble paying off their loans due to falling prices caused by excess supply that could not be absorbed into the domestic market. In a short sighted attempt to raise prices of exports Republicans enacted the Fordney–McCumber Tariff bill and Warren G. Harding signed it into law. While in the short run it increased the buying power of farmers by 2-3% the prices of machinery basically erased that gain. For example, the average cost of a harness rose from $46 in 1918 to $75 in 1926, the 14-inch plow doubled in cost from $14 to $28, mowing machines went from $45 to $95, and farm wagons from $85 to $150.
Damage was also caused by Prohibition, a gift from the religious right that also decreased demand for grains used by the brewing and distilling industry.
The cartelization you refer to was a necessary intervention by the government to stabilize prices and supply to prevent both excess that could not be absorbed in the market and shortages.
Unlike Herbert Hoover who was loath to put needed regulation on Wall Street and the banks the Roosevelt administration had no such qualms.
Roosevelt's main accomplishment was putting people to work putting money in their pockets which they spent putting it back in the economy.. The key to evaluating Roosevelt’s performance in combating the Depression is the statistical treatment of many millions of unemployed engaged in his massive workfare programs. The government hired about 60 per cent of the unemployed in public works and conservation projects that planted a billion trees, saved the whooping crane, modernized rural America, and built such diverse projects as the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh, the Montana state capitol, much of the Chicago lakefront, New York’s Lincoln Tunnel and Triborough Bridge complex, the Tennessee Valley Authority and the aircraft carriers Enterprise and Yorktown.
It also built or renovated 2,500 hospitals, 45,000 schools, 13,000 parks and playgrounds, 7,800 bridges, 700,000 miles of roads, and a thousand airfields.
Obama is also unlike Hoover with his largely hands off approach to the financial sector. He signed into law Dodd-Franks which made it harder for banks to gamble with depositors money.
You probably write these stories on TP, too.

Apparently, Public Policy Polling came up with contradictory results asking two separate questions.

Participants were given a list of networks, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and PBS, and voted on whether they trusted each network.

In the first question, Fox News and Comedy Central both received 46% of those networks considered the most untrustworthy.(Comedy Central airs "The Daily Show with John Stewart" and "The Colbert Report".)

However, in a separate question where participants were asked, "Which TV news outlet do you trust the most?", the most number of respondents chose Fox News with 34% saying the network was more reliable than any other network.

PBS was second with 13%; CNN third with 12% and ABC News fourth with 11%. All other networks received less than 10%.

Not only are people polarized but obviously confused.

It had to happen.
After every victory Barack Obama not only gloats, but in very vindictive and overt ways he rubs it in the face of those he thinks he has trumped. He has gone above and beyond just ridiculing those who wanted to defund ObamaCare with advice for all Americans to stop listening to other Americans!pam
In a very Hitlerian kind of admonishment, he said we should all stop listening to radio hosts, bloggers and talking heads and just help him to get on with his plan to save the economy, jobs et al.
It is abundantly clear that Mr. Obama has been skipping the blogs and most likey not tuning in Savage or Rush. He also has probably not visited one of the sites that keep the ongoing record of his open and public lies.
No doubt he missed WND’s article of October 18, 2013 by Joseph Farah entitled simply,‘The Lies of Obama.’ No doubt he missed the video at examiner.com called ‘Top 25 ‘laws of the land’ under attack by Obama’ or Examiner’s even more scathing piece called,‘Top 50 reasons people keep comparing Obama to Hitler.’

Religion, The Root of All Evil?

WASHINGTON (AP)- President Barack Obama is not an overtly religious man. He and his family rarely attend church, and he almost never elaborates in public about his own relationship to his Christian faith.

But far away from the public eye, his longtime advisers say, the president has carefully nurtured a sense of spirituality that has served as a grounding mechanism during turbulent times, when the obstacles to governing a deeply divided nation seem nearly insurmountable.

Every year on Aug. 4, the president's birthday, Obama convenes a group of pastors by phone to receive their prayers for him for the year to come. During the most challenging of times, prayer circles are organized with prominent religious figures such as megachurch pastor Joel Hunter, Bishop Vashti McKenzie of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Rev. Joseph Lowery, a civil rights activist.
