No repeal. Just defunding the biggest nonessential spending in the budget before it bankrupts the nation.
But now they just want fairness - that individuals get the same delay as corporations and Congress abide by the same rules as the rest of us.
But that would mean Obama and Reid would have to act like grownup leaders instead of petulant children.
(Reminds me of children with a new ball who won't let any of the other kids touch it.)
Democrats don't understand the concept of bankruptcy. They think there will be some country somewhere, or something, which money will magically appear from when they want, like when money magically appeared for GM and the unions.
To Democrats, money grows on trees. It falls like mana from heaven. It appears when it is wanted.

"Money that Schiavo's husband, Michael, received as part of a medical malpractice lawsuit in his wife's case in 1993 is almost gone, said Deborah Bushnell, one of Michael Schiavo's lawyers.
Of the $700,000 payment, only about $50,000 is left, Bushnell said. The rest went to pay for medical care for Schiavo, who has been in a persistent vegetative state for 15 years, and for legal fees in the battle over her fate, she said."
"Medicaid, the state and federal program that pays medical costs for the poor and indigent, has been picking up the tab for Schiavo's medications for two years, Bushnell said, while the hospice provides care for free." -apparently in just the last two years did the husband stop paying.
Taxpayers, hospice pay for Schiavo medical care
The Miami Herald by Phil Long
What is your point here?
Didn't this start with you claiming Galt was heartless or something for not thinking it was wise to pay for the high cost of ICU care for the terminally ill?
Then you end up agreeing with him.
That's it. Prove again how clueless you are!!

What it was about was the rights of Mr. Schiavo, which the FL and then Federal Gov't, under Repugnants, tried to take away his rights vis a vis his own wife.

Aren't you the ones calling for smaller Gov't??

Of course you are. Yet your side let your emotions get the best of you and accused Mr.Schiavo of all sorts of bad behavior and tried to steal his rights as her husband.

But the Courts told Bush $ Company that they were wrong.

Ask Bill Frist. The stupidity of Repugnants cost him his political career. Damaged Bush, also.

And here we have you asshats accusing Obama of Gov't overreach!!

Funny, the Courts supported Obama in the ACA, yet you call him a Dictator!!

Proving again your emotional meltdowns.

WASHINGTON — As several thousand demonstrators rallied around them, eight members of the House of Representatives were arrested on Tuesday outside the Capitol in a protest to push Congress to pass broad immigration legislation that includes a path to citizenship for immigrants in the country illegally.

The protests came as most attention in Congress was focused on the standoff over the partial government shutdown and the partisan disputes over health care and fiscal policy, pushing immigration to the side.
The lawmakers, all Democrats, were detained by the Capitol Police after they stood silently in a line in the middle of a street that borders the Capitol lawn, blocking traffic. As the police handcuffed them behind their backs and led them away, a crowd pressed in, chanting,“Let them go!”
The representatives arrested were Joseph Crowley and Charles B. Rangel of New York, Keith Ellison of Minnesota, Al Green of Texas, Luis V. Gutierrez and Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, Raul M. Grijalva of Arizona and John Lewis of Georgia. More than 150 other protesters, many from labor unions and immigrant organizations, were also arrested after they sat down and linked arms in the same street.
The arrests came after a rally by thousands of supporters of an immigration overhaul held in the middle of the National Mall, with a stage and live music by the Tigres del Norte, a popular Mexican-American band.
In a storm of Twitter posts, conservatives questioned how the immigration groups could hold a demonstration on the Mall, which is a national park, when national parks and memorials are closed as a result of the government shutdown. House Republicans have tried to reopen parks and monuments while keeping most of the federal government closed.
Conservatives said the Obama administration was showing a double standard by allowing the rally a week after World War II veterans were blocked from entering their memorial on the Mall. The veterans went in despite barricades placed there. After that, the National Park Service said veterans would be allowed to enter the memorial during the shutdown.
In a statement, the Park Service said it had allowed the immigration rally as an expression of “First Amendment rights,” the same rationale it had provided for opening the war memorial.
“The Mall is supposed to be shut,” said Brad Botwin, the director of Help Save Maryland, an anti-illegal-immigrant group, who joined a handful of people at the Mall to protest the immigration demonstration.“Why is the Park Service helping illegal immigrant groups and desperate labor unions to have a rally today?”
From the stage, Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the minority leader, thanked the White House for giving permission for the rally to proceed.
At any given time in history, Ellison, member of Mo Bro Hoodies would be detained in Gitmo. Jan Schakowsky is a known Communist and should be interrogated by John Burge--and Gutierrez is/was a member of FALN who murdered several people by way of bomb--they should be locked up for life.

Two neurologists examined her disagreed on her level of "awareness".

There's no question she was in a vegetative state.

But she displayed the same distress of starvation as a person with a normal brain.

So we disagree on this. It was a barbaric way for anyone to die.

Would you like to die that way, Lily? No matter what your mental condition? You don't think Terri suffered in spite of her mental state literally being starved to death?
It was nothing short of barbaric and the entire nation had to watch it. I can't even imagine being one of her family members who begged to take care of her and were helpless to end her suffering.
Would you be able to watch a loved one starve to death even if you didn't think they'd want to live in their present condition?
some people can't watch a loved one being forced to exist in that state and welcome the release starving to death would bring. I for one would haunt the folks keeping me alive until they pulled the plug.

Are the ghosts that you talk to in your TV Russian ghosts??
Is Putin there, or just Stalin and Beria??
Your Russian Communist sympathies are disgusting, but not surprising.
It's not being sympathetic to inform everyone of the fact that Russia is preparing for a civil war in the United States. That's just a statement of fact.
It's probably against your position to inform people of facts like this.

And, you didn't address the post, again. Here it is for your convenient reference:

There is obviously a differentiation happening.
The only thing not perfectly clear is, what actions are planned.
If you believe the Democrats are dominated by indoctrination with Saul Alinsky tactics, then they must first create the problem to propose a solution to the problem they created.
It's a no-brainer the Democrats are creating Marxist social and racial divisions, and exploiting them.
The Democrats' preparation for a war with the American people has been obvious.
It should be an obvious conclusion that the options Democrats include in their plan is starting a civil war.(Obviously, they will blame the start on anything but themselves as part of their propaganda.) What isn't clear is, if this civil war they will start is the only plan they have, and they were just waiting for some opportunity to use some arbitrary justification to start it.
Obviously, the Russians learned of this plan through their contacts in the Pentagon, which means there are operational plans to deploy the Armed Forces within the United States and engage in a war with the American people being made, perhaps already finalized and approved. The justification for this war is specific verbiage describing exactly "insurection".
Today we saw the phrase "neo-insurectionist" for the first time from someone here who is obviously indoctrinated with the Democrat party line mantra propaganda.
That's too much of a coincidence.
I'd say the Democrats have already made the decision to start that war. It's all or nothing for them right now.
The Russians also say this is very likely going to happen within a month.
