Never mind that. Does this mean the Obama's won't have as many A-lister parties in the White House? Or date nights in far-away cities? Or flying in separate jets to the same vacation destinations?

And this is from the clueless twit that falsely claimed that healthcare navigators would have access to Social Security numbers, health records and bank information. Once more, they don't. The only information anyone gives is;
1. The number of people in the family that need coverage.
2. Income information on everyone in the family.
3. Other sources of available coverage, such as through employment.
So, there is no verification or validation of the information provided to receive taxpayer subsidies....

<quoted text>Now that the Senate has rejected the latest House bill, how Republican House members respond will determine whether to expect a shutdown.
There are several paths House Republicans could take between now and midnight: The easiest way forward, of course, would be to simply pass a “clean” bill. The vote would likely pass the House, but it would require help from House Democrats — something that would be unusual, because House Republican leaders rarely bring bills to the floor that don't have support from a majority within the GOP conference.

Doesn't this speak volumes as to what a group of aholes this current crop of Republicans are?

The tax laws that penalize the top 2% are based on income and not wealth and hit at those who have worked hard to earn money on their own, mostly professional people. The laws also penalize two-income families.

With all your bragging about your value to your company and all your raises and bonuses, surely you must be making $200K.

<quoted text>I don't see them bitching that it's discriminatory when they have to show a photo ID when applying at any apartment housing complex in America. ALL housing managers require that now, but apparently it's only unreasonable when it applies to the poor voting. Right, got it. I don't see a one time fee every 8 years for a photo I.D. or driver's license being a hardship for ANY poor American. Their phone and food is free, so wtf is so bad about proving they're legal to vote unless it's because they are up to something? IOWs, "Please turn a blind eye to my activities because I'm poor
I'm poor now and I have absolutely no problem with continuing to purchase an I.D. I don't find it insulting in the least.
It's funny how this was not a major issue until we had a president who managed to have so very many people vote multiple times for him. It's not a racial issue when a white guy gets illegal votes but when a black guy does all of a sudden his partners in crime claim discrimination when they get caught.
The race card makes cowards of civil people and they end up getting shafted for bending over to it.
Guess what, those apartment complexes were taking pictures for their own ID cards.

When Republicans include a plan to go door to door to make photo IDs for voting then I will have no complaint.

Dumbsass.,How did you people get this stupid?

Where are the stats showing all the Democrats voting twice for Obama?( Unless you count voting in 2008 & then 2012 voting twice).

Republicans have been push voter suppression long before Obama ran for President.

Doesn't matter what a bunch of country bumpkins want or did, we follow a Constitution here in the United States of America.
End of story.
The rest of the state of Virginia left the Union. The part still in the Union had the right to do any legal business deemed necessary by the people.
