These days, when we think of George W. Bush, we think mostly of what a horrible mess he made of the economy. But his even more tragic legacy is the loss of our moral authority, and the transformation of the United States of America from global champion of human rights into an outlaw nation.
History is likely to judge Bush most harshly for two things in particular: Launching a war against a country that had not attacked us, and approving the use of cruel and inhumane interrogation techniques. And that's why the two most essential lies -- among the many -- in his new memoir are that he had a legitimate reason to invade Iraq, and that he had a legitimate reason to torture detainees. Neither is remotely true. But Bush must figure that if he keeps making the case for himself -- particularly if it goes largely unrebutted by the traditional media, as it has thus far -- then perhaps he can blunt history's verdict. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/22/the-... |

What was that last poll taken yesterday?
Only 9% of Americans agree with the Chimp-In-Chief's going to war in Syria? If he pushes this under these conditions, it speaks volumes to his well known wishes to trash America. "Damn the torpedoes. Full Steam ahead" He's wearing a Life Jacket. We aren't. |

however...Sen. Tim Scott, R.-S.C., the only African American serving in the United States Senate, wasn't invited to the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's march on Washington. What is that about? stinking democrats? |

Well, At least you wear your racial hatred openly. For that you're a better person than so many phonies here who pontificate how they really don't hate and fear black people. And then go on to prove their racial hatreds. Y'see, I can even find some good in a Waxman puppet. You're his 'openly racist and mysogynist' character, the true sociopath. I understand. You're one of his Ivy League educated children, aren't you? LOL Another that ended up in a wad of kleenex, soon to be flushed, like the sadly departed Jimmy. |

That's the same half wit that regaled us with the story about how Obama won because black Americans outvoted white ones overall and it was white folks fault because they stayed at home. Oh, what a hoot that was!! And then when called on it, made a series of excuses about how it was proportional, he was taken out of context, usual nitwit talk, etc. But you clearly fcked up badly, idiot. And you haven't gotten any smarter since then. You and your Fenster buttsweetie are, as the saying goes,'so gay'! Not that it's a bad thing, it's just your hiding it that is. |

By Jackson's own account, he was in the motel parking lot when MLK was shot, not with him on the motel balcony. Jackson has always exaggerated his role in the MLK organization. |
