99.2% of the wealthy carry health insurance.
The wealthy are wealthy because they don't spend money unnecessarily.

Does Dumbass Dave think the wealthy also buy life insurance?

Thx to O'Kennedy pilfering a SS number in the name and residence of his Kenyan father for him maybe.
WTH is with that stuff anyway--Hawaii had the number system implemented in the last part of the 50's..and aren't SS numbers SUPPOSED to originate in ones state of birth, and/or at least have similar geographical references?
Some flocked up stuff there-right on par with o'kennedy and his wide open swining door of libuhrulTic (NO) Immigration policy of the mid 60's.
Damn demoncrat mess maker.
Social Security numbers are geographical (and time sequenced), but based on wherever one happens to walk into a SSA office to apply for a card.

Why would anyone go to an emergency room for a headache or a sprained ankle?
Take two aspirin and call your doctor in the morning.
You might do that and I might do that but a lot of people don't.

There has to be a complete overhaul of the system. And if this sounds uncaring, so be it.

But after attacking the real culprit of rising health costs which is hospitals and clinics ripping off insurance companies and patients, there has to be two separate medical care facilities. Those who refuse to buy AFFORDABLE insurance and who can afford it must go to a medical facility that provides basic care and nothing more and pay the crux out of pocket before receiving the care.

Those who do have AFFORDABLE insurance can be seen at higher care medical facilities.

Those who can't afford even AFFORDABLE insurance will be provided care at the former facility for free.

This is the only way to spur people who abuse the system at other's expense to afford their own insurance if they want the best health care and still provide free health care for the truly needy.

You get what you pay for is a truism in every other profession and business except the medical profession. That has to change.

It's now a free-for-all for some and outrageous costs bordering on insanity for others.

Here's some math for YOU, smelly redheaded pigcnt:

1 ghetto-dwelling, pants saggin, ebonics-speaking homeboy

=

1 dirty little mulatto baby born to a worthless single mom

\

the failure rate of such progeny in America

That will be $42.50, for professional accounting services rendered. Cash only, no EBT card accepted.

More baloney. There is no reason to be;eve SS will disappear in 25 years.

Not charging $100 for a toothbrush,$30 for one Tylenol and $40 for one gauze pad might also significantly reduce costs.
A one-night hospital stay shouldn't require insurance companies to pay thousands of dollars and the patient to pay the remainder also in the thousands of dollars.
Tests and procedures are off the charts. One expects to pay for services received from specialists in fields of expertise, but the medical profession has become more like crooked car mechanics charging you for parts and labor you didn't need rather than honest and caring people who have "a calling" to that profession.

I can see where not letting a murderous horde take over a country would piss them off. Let's count the middle class Iranians in universities here and in Europe when the Shah ran Iran, and compare that to the number of middle class Iranians being educated in western universities today. Yeah. I can see where educating the population would piss them off.
"targetted by Islam"
Let's take a look at where Islam borders the rest of the world and compare that with your idiocy. How about we start with Morocco.
Morocco sends terrorists into Spain.
Algeria is separated from the rest of the world by the Mediterranean Sea.
Lybia is a source for international terrorists.
Egypt is routinely at war with Israel.
The entire border of Israel is a war zone.
Lebanon is a war zone.
They had to build a wall across Cyprus to separate the Islamists from everyone else.
The Balkans.
No war across the Black Sea.
Georgia and Daghestan.
No war across the Caspian Sea.
Iran...
Afghanistan...
Pakistan is at war with India routinely.
No war across the Indian Ocean.
You fucking idiots don't see that Islam finds some reason to be at war with every goddam thing it is in contact with.
The only reason they are at war with us is we exist. If we didn't exist, they would be at war with whatever other country occupied our place in the world, which is superior to their place, which is the real reason Islam is at war with everything it is in contact with.
Dang! What an insightful and intelligent post!

A surgeon's expertise should be compensated just like any medical physician who spent years in school and in residency to become a doctor.

But the attitudes in the medical profession, inflated egos and apathy, sometimes peaks even before a medical student becomes a full-fledged doctor.

And unnecessary tests and procedures are done on a routine "knee-jerk reflex" basis because of the fear of being frivolously sued.

Few people respect the medical profession anymore. There's a good reason for that.

A hospital admission just means everyone can get on board the gravy train - and many do. Specialty doctors are called in for "consults" and get paid just for dictating something in your chart whether they actually treated you or not.

This is not how it's supposed to work.

Just eliminating the outrageous costs of medical supplies and unnecessary tests alone would reduce costs. Making insurance competitive nationwide is another.

But very few surgeons and specialist are worth the god-awful amounts of money the insurances pays them and patients getting stuck with the rest of an outrageous bill.

Doctors used to work for a chicken. It's supposed to be "a calling". Not an insurance Ponzi scheme.
