Joe Scarborough Slams Sean Hannity For Using Racism to Gin Up Ratings

Hannity has been beating the race baiting drum harder than anyone else in conservative media. He has even managed to out race bait Rush Limbaugh. The Fox News host is doing exactly what Scarborough said. He is exploiting racism and racial divides in order to justify what George Zimmerman did. He is also trying to jack up his eroding ratings. However, this isnít ratings based desperation on Hannityís part. Itís just what he does. Michael Savage is banned in the UK because of his constant use of hate speech on his radio show, and he thinks Hannity has gone too far. The truth is that we need more people on the left and right calling out the Sean Hannitys and Rush Limbaughs of right wing media.

A crucial part of that 911 call is the police agreeing to meet Zimmerman at the clubhouse, and the sidewalk where the confrontation took place where Zimmerman was headed led directly to the clubhouse.
The question is why didn't Trayvon just stay out of sight or make the 15 to 20 second run to where his father was staying with his girlfriend?
There was a 4-minute gap between the time Zimmerman hung up after talking to dispatch, eventually beginning the short walk to the clubhouse from where he parked his car and the first punch by Trayvon.
Greta said she could have run the distance to Trayvon'g father's girlfriend's house in 20 seconds from where the confrontation took place. Four minutes seems like a long time in light of that fact for Trayvon to hang around.
Zimmerman never talked to the police.

Why keep repeating this incorrect statement?

Wrong again Carol! Here's part of the judge's instructions to the jury;
"If George Zimmerman was not engaged in an unlawful activity and was attacked in any place where he had a right to be, he had no duty to retreat and had the right to stand his ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he reasonably believed that it was necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony."
That is the gist of Stand Your ground. In addition according Juror B-37 Stand Your Ground was key to reaching their verdict. She told CNN's Anderson Cooper in an interview that neither second-degree murder nor manslaughter applied in Zimmerman's case "because of the heat of the moment and the 'stand your ground.' He had a right to defend himself. If he felt threatened that his life was going to be taken away from him or he was going to have bodily harm, he had a right."
But then you've shown a remarkable ignorance of the facts in this case.
(This didn't post the first time. Good thing I copied it.)

The phrase "stand your ground" was around long before it was associated with a law in Florida. The judge did not say anything about considering a law in those instructions.

Her instructions actually and unintentionally exonerated Zimmerman because this was the exact situation he found himself in. And why he was acquitted.

This was nothing more than a tragedy of misunderstandings.

Trayvon misunderstood the neighborhood he was in was a high crime area for robberies and he fit the profile of the perpetrators.

Zimmerman misunderstood Trayvon's innocence if, in fact, he was just walking home.

But Trayvon was visiting from Miami and was probably not that familiar with the neighborhood. It should have been his cue to keep walking.

An innocent person doesn't usually attack as a first reaction. Trayvon must have known or at least sensed Zimmerman was talking to the police on his cellphone when they first made eye contact before he initially ran off.

The first thing Zimmerman said after the shooting is "I screamed for help but no one came." When he was told his screaming was caught on a neighbor's cellphone, he said, "Thank God!"

If his intent was to murder Trayvon, why scream for help? Especially when Zimmerman had no way of knowing it would be heard in the background of a neighbor's cellphone calling 911 to please send help? In fact, numerous neighbors called 911 because "someone is screaming for help."

CNN, guilty of not presenting the facts straight, said in their timeline of events that Zimmerman continued to follow Trayvon after being instructed by the dispatch not to do so. The 911 call clearly does not prove that. Zimmerman's breathing pattern changed dramatically when he was first "pursuing" Trayvon's whereabouts and after he said "okay" when given that instruction.

The ensuing conversation from the 911 call also shows the poice agreed to meet Zimmerman at the clubhouse which was where Zimmerman was walking when confronted.

This is also a tragedy of liberal politics and the liberal media. But that isn't really a tragedy. Manipulation is the better word.

TSA Selling Out Security for a Profit?

The government is expanding the ways airline passengers can enroll in an expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belts and keep laptop computers in cases at security checkpoints.

Under the Transportation Security Administration's Precheck program, only travelers who were members of the frequent flyer programs of some air carriers were eligible for expedited screening. On Friday, TSA Administrator John Pistole said beginning later this year U.S. citizens will be able to enroll online or visit an enrollment site to provide identification, fingerprints and an $85 enrollment fee.

About 12 million people are currently enrolled in the program. Pistole said he expects about another 3 million people to enroll before the end of the year.

George Zimmermanís not-guilty verdict had nothing to do with Stand Your Ground, right?

Wrong.

The wording of the self-defense law appeared in the jury instructions, and it was discussed by jurors, the defense and prosecutors in court.

So, therefore, Trayvon Martinís shooting had everything to do with Stand Your Ground, right?

Also wrong.

Thereís a good chance Zimmerman might still have walked even if Stand Your Ground had never become law in 2005. At most, without Stand Your Ground, the jury would probably have hung.

That's ridiculous. The "fight or flight" instinct happens in just seconds. Trayvon had 4 minutes to think about confronting Zimmmerman. He could have "flit" to where his father was staying in just 20 seconds long after he first made eye contact with Zimmmerman on the phone and after he first ran off.

So why didn't he just keep running?

Because the liberal media told you not to think about that. That's why.

Notice this on website..an outrage

A Norwegian woman at the centre of a Dubai rape case dispute has been pardoned and is free to leave Dubai, she has said.

Interior designer Marte Deborah Dalelv, 24, was on a business trip in Dubai when she says she was raped in March.

She reported the attack to the police, but was charged with perjury, having extramarital sex and drinking alcohol, receiving a 16-month prison sentence.

The case has angered rights groups and the Norwegian authorities.

Ms Dalelv had had her passport returned and was free to leave the country, a Norwegian official told the BBC. She was not being deported, and was expected to return to Norway in the next few days.

The designer, who has been staying at the Norwegian Seamen's Centre in Dubai since she was sentenced last week, told the BBC she found out she was to be freed earlier on Monday during a meeting with public prosecutors.

"We came in and we sat down and they told us 'You've been pardoned'. It's from the ruler of Dubai. It's from him personally so that's - it just feels unbelievable - it's a very, very good day."
