Yeah and she was born in Persia aka Iran where her father was operating a children's hospital as part of a US government outreach program. She spoke both Persian (Farsi) and French as a child. Smart girl eh?
The other poster is quoting world nut daily and other conspiracy loon sites.

What did the soviets have to do with Iraq? Nothing! Russia went to war with Afghanistan & was defeated because of US assistance in building or digging the tunnels in the mountains. Otherwise, they would've lost, just like they were losing before the US aid. What did that have to do with Iraq? How was it that under Obama, all it took was seal team six to find & milk bin Laden, the true target of the invasion of Afghanistan? We didn't declare war on Pakistan when we found bin Laden there, yet he no longer exists. Nor does the hierarchy of Al Qaeda. Obama has decimated their leadership without committing to a full scale war! What you're saying is completely nonsense. Without US aid, the Russians would've crushed Afghanistan!

intelligence? or every kids gets a trophy along with social promotion, favored by the libs/progressives?
and THE PLAN to make more Democrat voters—besides amnesty for poor, unskilled entitlement takers-- involves dumbing down the American Sheeple.
Modern education in America is nothing more than pandering for the liberal cause. They stopped teaching real facts long ago and only engage in propaganda tactics to brainwash the entire future American population into liberal ideology.
Point One. Higher education makes you stupid. There is no way you can sit in a college classroom for seven years to get a degree in “human rights” or “women’s studies” and not turn into an imbecile. If you think the university doesn’t maim the human mind, you haven’t really listened to the Occupy Wall Street crowd.
Point Two. Public schooling makes you stupid. How could there be a sillier idea than to make your age-group peers—other kids who are as dumb as you are—the most important, the most influential people in your life, and conformity your goal in life? Not to mention such added frills as the gender coach, the cuddle puddle,“social studies,” and “math” lessons about the joys of redistributing wealth. As Paul Simon once put it,“When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school, it’s a wonder I can think at all.” Only the process starts in kindergarten, not in high school.
Point Three. Three. Being governed by Democrats makes you stupid. Some would disagree, saying that being governed by Democrats is an effect of stupidity, not a cause. Who but complete dunderheads would ever choose to be governed by Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Bob Menendez, Charlie Rangel, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Hank Johnson, and on and on to the last drop of distilled brainlessness? Case in point: Dems propose “universal pre-school.” Why wait until kindergarten to start the stupefying process? The fact that the country can’t afford such a colossal waste of money is just icing on the cake. Anyhow, scientific studies prove that just listening to the above-mentioned individuals causes necrosis of the brain cells.
In truth, our whole popular culture is a vast toxic ocean of stupidity in which we, poor fish, must swim. No one is entirely immune to its effects. And it gets worse by the day.
For instance, this from the U.K. Independent, Feb. 8, 2013:“Academic takes swipe at David Attenborough wildlife documentaries for ignoring gay animals.” Can you believe it? A professor at the University of East Anglia, home of “Climategate,” says the documentaries “are perpetuating the notion that animal relationships are predominantly heterosexual.”
Obama was elected and re-elected because he was/is culturally popular. A total failure, but as they say…it’s the culture, stupid.

Check your source. The British army was in the southern portion of Vietnam.
And I just love this one:
"Mar 46 Uncle Ho agrees to let French troops in return for recognition of a free democratic republic of Vietnam."
... and that explains why there hasn't been an election for any office at any level of government in Vietnam since 1975.
The UN didn't even exist when the Potsdam conference happened, dufus. That division was solely for the monitoring of the removal of the Japanese army. It had nothing to do with creating two countries out of one Vietnam. The British army monitored the removal of the Japanese army in the southern region of the one country of Vietnam, not the French.
Why don't you go back and check the date when the Soviet Union petitioned the UN to divide Vietnam into two countries, dufus.
Your answers smack of subjective propaganda.
Ho Chi Minh asked the French to return to Vietnam, then Ho Chi Minh began fighting them when they instituted democracy and did not endorse him as the supreme leader of Vietnam, choosing the democratically elected government instead.
When did Vietnam become two countries?(How about you tell us about how Vietnam was divided in the EXACT SAME WAY Korea was divided, and the exact same thing happened afterward.)

Well, since CBS called her "the other half of Barack Obama's brain" and since she is his top advisor - who we rarely hear about, by the way - and has access to him 24/7, it's almost like she's the president - incognito.
At least when Rove was called the other half of Bush's brain, we knew who Rove was. He was in the news constantly.
They keep the other half of Obama's brain pretty concealed.
Take you, for example. What do you know about Valerie Jarrett? I wouldn't have had to ask for more information about Karl Rove.

Here's the "Transformation" that he promised us:
So far, in his presidency, what exactly has Obama accomplished?
After five abysmal years of anemic “recovery,” the nation is still struggling with unemployment above the level he inherited.
Big business is bigger under his redistributive administration.
Government surveillance of citizens has increased by all accounts, with some political dissidents being targeted for bureaucratic scrutiny.
On the foreign front, his administration has perpetually supported rebels, revolutionaries, and factions that are tied directly to the same Islamists who gave safe harbor (and in some cases direct support) to the group responsible for 3,000 deaths on September 11, 2001.
Even his signature piece of domestic legislation – Obamacare – is falling apart at the seams.
All this begs the question: What legacy is he interested in preserving?
Under NORMAL political circumstances, an outgoing politician carefully evaluates where their concentration might best be served for historical remembrance.“Legacies” are often a dirty word in the American Political Theater, but they have brought us some of the best and worst aspects of modern American government.
Certainly FDR left a lasting legacy of entitlement, Keynesian central planning, and Big Government.
Ronald Reagan left a legacy of constitutional republicanism, smaller government, and a legitimate concern for the growth of the welfare state.
Barack Obama will leave a legacy far more influential than either of the aforementioned men.

Ok, dufus. Let's go over this again....
You're the president.
What do you do?
Your answer was:
"Do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and somehow you expect a different result?"
Is this correct? You would do the exact same thing in the exact same place against the exact same enemy as the Soviets, and you're stupid enough to think you'd have a different experience than the Soviets, right?
Or, was your answer one of the other options, like "do something differently."
If you would have done simething different than what the Soviets did, what would that have been?

When Obama was elected he was not focused on “fixing” the subprime mortgage crises, economic collapse or political culture of distaste and hate.
He told us what he wanted. He wanted to “transform” America. What he wanted to transform the nation into is only peripherally important.
Centric to his core agenda was this idea of transformation. His agenda was never about bringing healthcare to the masses, reigning in Wall Street (his biggest donors), or restoring the ladder of socio-economic mobility....
It was about using populist issues to advance an otherwise unpalatable “progressive” agenda.
The Administration’s support of Islamists in the overthrow of Libya’s (admittedly despicable) leader had far less to do with the proliferation of despotism, and more to do with de-elevating America on the world stage.
Under Obama, gone are the days of presuming America can (and should) defend relative freedom.
Just recently the Obama Administration declared they are insisting the Muslim Brotherhood be included in the new(est) government of Egypt...
Um... Aren’t they the group people were interested in overthrowing?

Hey Homer! There was a reason the Founding Father wanted power centralized to the localities first, states second, and the federal smallest and last. We are now living in a country the founders were most afraid of.

Obama is not worried about his legacy as an economically focused president, or his ability to stave off foreign conflicts...
He want to be the man who made America the largest home of European Socialism.(Is that going too far?)
Redistributive policies, European style central planning, and technocratic implementation of our laws are more than odd fascinations with the Obama wing of the Democrat Party.
Obama-style Democrats really do believe the creation of prosperity begins with government action. And why shouldn’t they? People like Barack Obama have grown quite wealthy off of government.
Why wouldn’t they think government is the source of prosperity?
In this light, Obama’s recent decision to ignore the IRS scandal, delay the Obamacare employer mandate, and switch his stance on gay marriage, all makes sense.
His daily actions are designed to allow for a window of opportunity to dismantle obstacles or implement new agendas - regardless of their popularity.
This is what makes Barack Obama impossible to understand in traditional political contexts.
He’s not interested in being a politician. Our current Commander in Chief is far more interested in bringing us that “transformation” he promised.
If he succeeds, in the long run, that might very well place him in the history books as the most important American President in the last half century.
But at what cost to the republic?

At least now that Karl Rove is out of the spotlight, he is now free to marry his lover Jeff Gannon Guckert. You know nothing about the real Karl Rove; you probably never gave him a moments thought; afterall, he's a white man.
Every President has a top advisor; so what? What bugs you? That she's a woman? A woman of color? It's not her job to be in the spotlight, and President Obama has his own brain. Perhaps Bush didn't.

I don't care. We had Cheney as VP, you cannot get any worse than that, well except for maybe Dan Quayle.
