Last week we saw one of the most shameful, anti-American displays in the U.S. Congress in my lifetime. Mexcian President Felipe Calderon, who reinvented the word hypocrite, stood in front of the world in OUR house and slammed the State of Arizona for their new law to stop the sewage coming across the border from his country, bringing death and misery to that state. That little Napoleon stood in OUR house and ran his mouth while Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the morally and ethically bankrupt Democrats stood and cheered...
The bottom line is Our U.S. Constitution/Law guarantees under Art. IV, Section 4: "The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence."

Blacks believing the lies is the other half.
That's actually not a farfetched visual.

It will be a good day for America when the majority of blacks realize their only hope was - and still is - the Republican Party.

But they were denied any hope of opportunities in the blue states.
The NYT article I posted said blacks are moving back to the south in significant numbers because the opportunities are there now.
They weren't there when the southern states were blue states.
Can't you see what I'm saying? How can southern red states still be racist if the opportunites and acceptance are there now rather than in the northern blue states?
You along with the NYT are completely wrong if you're both saying the South is no longer racist! I have family in the South from Baltimore to GA. The father you go South, the worse the racism with exception to Florida along the coast. You're reading an article & I'm telling you from experience,"racism still exists in the South." Now I will agree that alot of blacks have been moving down South chasing economic opportunities but, what they don't tel you is, most wind up moving back. I have 2 friends that just moved back, 1 from NC, the other from SC. Both said there were jobs down there but, both said it's not for them. Both complained of rednecks running wild with guns looking for trouble. Both complained how blatantly racist the police down South. The laws are racially biased. I remember in about 04, I moved my uncleto South Carolina (mind you he's back in NJ) but, I went to McDonalds for breakfast. Leaving out I saw a white at the drive thru. Me being me, I said something to her along the lines of "what up babygirl." My cousin from the South tells me," yo chill boy, they don't play that shit down here!" I look around & folks both black & white were looking at my like I was crazy. I never did it sharing the rest of the time I was down there. Ain't nothing change down South but the party lines!

Realtime probably knew that too though...to be fair.
People who posture and primp through constantly stating the shamefully obvious are boorish fools.

"Look! The Sun is setting!"

Sitting in a movie theater: "Look! He shot the guy!" Duh!

And people wonder why theater shootings occur.

Realtime is the Raisin Prune Cucumber Aficionado Dood that lectures everyone on the obvious from his little soap box. Mice are cute but only as long as they remain silent.

We call it "There is a bear on your arm."

This gem came from a Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom program where the star of the show felt it was necessary to inform the guest that a bear was attacking him.

This is the 21st century. It is a shame that the zionist leaders of israel have chosen to adopt the genocidal policies of Nazi Germany. Unlike the United States which was disgusted by Hitler and pretty much stopped forced sterilization of the mentally ill and prisoners after World War I.(Except, of course, for the backwards Southern States which actully practiced eugenics up until the 60's.) Still, we have advanced in our fight for civil rights. Israel has not. That is a FACT.
From Haaretz: We are right, of course, to take issue with those who characterized this story as one of forced sterilization or genocide. Controlling a woman’s fertility with long-term contraceptive drugs without informed consent is a terrible thing, but it’s a long way from forced sterilization.

Some followers of news out of Israel have seen last Wednesday’s correction as a vindication, suggesting that the entire story can now be seen as little more than an anti-Israel smear advanced by bad actors, and that potentially irreversible damage has been done to Israel because Haaretz wrote that a government office admitted to something to which it did not, in fact, admit—as if an official admission of culpability is the only valid source for the information at hand.

Your lovely Haaretz said you lied. No further information has been issued. So say you are sorry... Jew hater.

Good for them. And more power to them. The now southern red states will accept them with open arms.

Maybe this will be their big "aha" moment.

The Republicans were and always have been the party who wanted them to succeed and were the majority passing every piece of civil rights legislation to see that happen.

Nothing has changed.

I'm quite sure there are some places in the south where there are still "good old boys" just like in many other states.

But ow would you react if you overheard a white young man say "what up babygirl" to a black young woman? Sometimes you have to remember what is and isn't appropriate anywhere.

You also have to remember what's going on in cities like Chicago and Detroit where blacks are much worse off. Both are blue states.

It's all about votes and keeping the black vote. Nothing else.
