I say keep those congressional hearings coming. The GOP will overplay their hand, and most Americans have a pretty dim view of the GOP Congress already.
You really think a normal, middle class, non- FOX loon cares about any of this? Think again.
As soon as there is the next shiny new distraction ( OJ back in court, a kidnapping, another building collapsing) or we have the next mass shooting, all of this goes away in the mainstream media.
Polling already confirms that a large majority trust Hillary and Obama more than the GOP on everything.
It's a video, for heavens sake. The source is not relevent if there's a video. Andes Mitchell was ticked. I saw it in real time on MSNBC. You must have missed Jay Carney being pummeled by the press corps earlier today. I actually felt sorry for him. I wouldn't have been surprised if reporters had started chanting "liar, liar, pants on fire" in unison.

In the weeks to come, it will be interesting to watch the Diane Sawyers, Oprahs, Madcows and the whole Liberal bookshelf of Media liars try to cover for the Magic Negro.

Hee, Hee,....I watched Diane traffic her sleeze tonight...."Last year", she said, "only 6 states approved gay marriage but, after President Obama said he approved of it, the number has climbed to 12".

Gee, Diane, that Magic Negro has such magical powers, doesn't he? He leads the Socialist Poop Parade and you follow him stepping in his droppings.

Holder announced Tuesday that he has ordered an investigation to see if there were criminal violations in the Internal Revenue Service scrutiny of conservative political groups that had sought non-profit status.

thank you G.W.

The Department of Justice sent a letter to the Associated Press on Tuesday, which was provided to TPM, saying that it acted within the law when subpoenaing the phone records of AP journalists as part of a criminal investigation.

"The subpoenas were limited to a reasonable period of time and did not seek the content of any calls," DOJ Deputy Attorney General James Cole wrote to AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt. "In addition, these records have been closely held and reviewed solely for the purposes of this ongoing criminal investigation. The records have not been and will not be provided for use in any other investigations."

"We strive in every case to strike the proper balance between the public's interest in the free flow of infomation and the public's interest in the protection of national security and effective enforcement of our criminal laws. We believe we have done so in this matter."

Report: IRS D.C. office investigated applications for non-profit status
Both Democrats and Republicans are calling for an investigation of what happened, though Republicans appear more interested in making it a political issue than Democrats. The Republican Governors' Association, for example, called on the president to name a special prosecutor.
I'm sure this won't happen, but hopefully Congressional investigators will remember the reason the IRS is involved in investigating these groups in the first place is that under current law, the IRS—not the Federal Elections Commission—is responsible for regulating these groups. There's no justification for targeting them on the basis of political affiliation, but on the other hand, it's not like the IRS should abdicate its responsibility to enforce the law.
I'm sure conservatives would love a scenario where the IRS simply rubber-stamped the tax-exempt status applications of every conservative group, but if the IRS did that, what would the point be of having laws in the first place? Moreover, the idea that conservatives are the only groups that have ever been singled out is ridiculous—liberals were targeted for political reasons during the Bush years.
Bottom-line: This is a serious issue, but if conservatives approach it as a partisan game, it'll turn into another Benghazi probe, and quickly.

"somic"
The IRS asked many illegal questions. Guess what the IRS did not deny tax exempt status to a single case they investigated. Did you find it a little strange they did not ask liberal groups the same questions?

<quoted text>OBL became the "face of terrorism" during the Bush administration Carol, the administration that steered idiots like you around.
The "axis of evil" was almost comical.
Mohammed Atta was the driving force behind 9/11, it may have been another person's idea to commandeer passenger jets and then use them as missiles against US landmarks but Atta made it happen and frankly OBL was not Atta's mentor.
But after piloting one of the planes into the side of the WTC, Atta no longer had a fkn face did he? And as an Egyptian he wasn't exactly a Saudi was he?
Hmmph
I think it was bin Laden declaring war on us that became the face of terrorism after 9/11. Pretty sure.
