Let me add to the erroneous information you were indoctrinated with:
The previous operation used 300 weapons, all fitted with GPS devices, and the federal agents were ordered to track the weapons and seize them before the weapon entered Mexico. Over 90 percent were recovered.
Eric Holder increased that number to 2000, ordered that no GPS be used to track the weapons, ordered the weapons to not be tracked and seized before entering Mexico. None were recovered. That's a ZERO success rate.
In short, Bush was conducting a +90% successful sting operation.
Eric Holder was just running guns for Mexican drug cartels.
... and some poor government worker just doing what he's told to do got scapegoated by Holder.
You still have not responded to Holder being the one who ordered the flawed gun running operation stopped.

Check this out: http://www.nationalmemo.com/voters-believe-hi... "As it turns out, the Republican effort to stir up conspiracy theories around the September 11, 2012 attacks on the American mission in Benghazi isn’t resonating with most Americans. According to a new PPP Poll, a majority trust former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi attacks — only Republican voters have rallied behind the idea that the Obama administration is involved in covering up the “truth” behind the Benghazi attacks.

A question posed to respondents asked,“Who do you trust more on the issue of Benghazi: Hillary Clinton or congressional Republicans?”— 49 percent said they trust Mrs. Clinton and 39 percent cited the Republicans. The poll also reports 57 percent of voters have an unfavorable view of congressional Republicans, while 52 percent have a favorable opinion of the former secretary." Scandal mongering by republicans doesn't scare Hillary Clinton. She eats 'scandals' for breakfast. They only make her stronger!:-D

Since all the mass murderering nuts were Democrats, DC Sniper, Comumbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora theater, Fort Hood, Newtown, etc., etc., etc., a good thing to check for is whether they are registered as Democrat. I can see where if a person is a registered Democrat, given the fact that all these mass murderers were all Democrats, they shouldn't be allowed to have a gun.
But, that won't work. Democrats have no intention of enforcing any gun law in their own districts, just like it is today. In every major city, they stack the bullet-riddled corpses to the rafters in the morgues every goddam weekend, and every Democrat fraud just pretends that isn't happening.
Nope. Ain't gonna happen. The first reason is, nobody trusts you. Obviously the Democrats plan to disarm only their opposition, and not everyone, just like is the case today in places like, oh, say, Chicago where nobody is enforcing existing gun laws.
Besides, if you ever read the Constitution, you'd know what we have here is a government of the people. There aren't two sets of rights defined in the Constitution, one for the people in government and a different set of rights for the people not in government. Therefore, any restriction applied to the people must apply to the government.
That is, as long as we are a constitutional republic with the current Constitution. If you're successful in eliminating the Constitution and installing your Orwellian dictatorship, well... we'll just have to fight about that... again. You stupid idiots just don't get it. That's what started this country in the first place.
Do we have to fight ANOTHER war about this? Huh? Answer me.

2006....

NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS....Earlier today, ABC News reported that the federal government was "tracking" the phone calls of reporters who were suspected of talking to leakers. Here's what's apparently going on:

The FBI acknowledged late Monday that it is increasingly seeking reporters’ phone records in leak investigations.“It used to be very hard and complicated to do this, but it no longer is in the Bush administration,” said a senior federal official.

....Officials say the FBI makes extensive use of a new provision of the Patriot Act which allows agents to seek information with what are called National Security Letters (NSL). The NSLs are a version of an administrative subpoena and are not signed by a judge. Under the law, a phone company receiving a NSL for phone records must provide them and may not divulge to the customer that the records have been given to the government.

The FBI is now harrassing reporters in a way that previously required the consent of a judge — which usually wasn't given except as a "last resort." NSLs, by contrast, are issued by the FBI itself. There. Is. No. Oversight. At. All.

The Constitution says the opposite. How about we read a quote from the Constitution:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

For those who don't know what the definition of "is" is, this means the government cannot read your email without a warrant.
Anyone who has ever read the Constitution can tell you this.

The last I looked, we are not invading Yemen, Libya & other North African countries. We conduct strikes against terrorist camps or other targets & use drones.

That is not an invasion.

We went into Afghanistan to get Bin Laden.

I can't believe you right whiners can't admit that.

Bush told the Taliban to hand over the terrorists (Bin Laden) or else. He was not handed over. We invaded.

So tell me again how we didn't invade Afghanistan to get Bon Laden???

By the time Bin Laden went into Pakistan, Bush declared him irrelevant.
