What this all boils down to is a political circus. It's no surprise that Republicans are targeting the strongest Democratic candidate for 2016 as well as the sitting Democratic president: Their goals are transparently political. For them, this isn't about the substance of what happened in Benghazi. It's about winning an election three years from now, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone: It's just how Republicans roll.

Did you really just say that?
Do you have even one explanation as to why this happened, Lily? Because the rest of us would sure love to know the information you apparently have privy to.
If a Republican president and his administration lied to you for weeks and weeks after a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11 and then pretended like it wasn't that important to provide you and your liberal pals any answers because it was more important to win an upcoming election...you know damn well you would give a shyte!!! A big frggin' shyte!!!
God help us survive your liberal warped mentality.
no one gives a shyte, anymore, about Bush WMD lies. well, other than those(FOXbots) who need to keep lying about it.

Why don't they start approving those 80 federal judges?

<quoted text> It does seem a bit self-serving and hypocritical of Republicans to play politics now (almost 2 years before the next election) rather then get to work with the President on solving the nation's problems. Wasn't it Republicans who wanted President Obama to stay more in Washington and work with them on getting things done then out campaigning for Democratic causes?
Call back when Obama is willing to make real spending cuts in exchange for the tax increases he already received.

Right-Wing Media Push New Benghazi Myths Ahead Of Hearings

In fact, these myths are discredited by previous congressional reports and testimony, which show that the politicized nature of the hearings come from right-wing media and Congressional Republicans, that the military could not have rescued personnel from the second attack, that the administration was in constant communication at all levels during the attacks, and that the intelligence community believed there was a link to an anti-Islam video at the time of the attacks.

So on the night of Benghazi, Clinton had a call with Hicks at 2am and was put fully in the picture of who was responsible for attacking the Embassy. On top of this the murdered ambassadors body was taken to the a hospital also controlled by these very same terrorists.

Looks like a spontaneous attack to me.

True. I think the presidency is no longer within reach for the Republican party. They would have to take a hard turn towards the center and the opposite appears to be true.

Although some are defecting towards immigration reform in attempts to win Hispanic voters. They can always go back to hating them after the election.

The Senate is scheduled to vote Wednesday afternoon on an amendment offered by Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) that may add fuel to a conspiracy theory about President Obama’s gun control efforts that even the National Rifle Association has said is based on fiction.
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2013/05/co...
The Coburn amendment, attached to unrelated water resources legislation and set for a 60-vote threshold, would require federal agencies (excluding the Pentagon) to report the number of rounds of ammunition they purchase. It would also require them to report firearms purchased as well as those that are stolen, lost or unaccounted for.

Sounds very reasonable, a form of gun control.
