Republican Stimulus Hypocrisy: They Knew it Would Work
According to this morning's exposť in the Washington Times, those very same Republican members of Congress who publicly condemned the 2009 stimulus bill--insisting to us all that it would neither stimulate the economy nor create jobs--privately believed just the opposite. These GOP representatives and senators were so sure that the stimulus bill would be effective, in fact, that they could not get to their desks fast enough to start peppering the federal government with requests for projects in their districts.

Oh yes, what a waste of money. Darryl Issa and his hearings. Why don't they go to work and do the peoples work instead of witchhunting? Republicans are the worst.
Just imagine what the response from the Obama WH would have been had there been 4 jihadists killed instead of 4 Americans you fool. Once you understand that the Obama Administration is fully partnered with the Muslim Brotherhood, everything Barack and his cadre do makes perfect sense.

So you don't mind if Obama invests "our" money on risky ventures that fail but criticize Romney and investment firms who use their own money for the same purpose?
Difference being, investment firms lose their own money if a company fails and make a profit only if the companies succeed.
Please explain this double standard of yours.
Of Course, you do know that you're ignoring the fact that Romney did not 'use' his own money , but received salary, and bonus stock options for investing other peoples money , shareholders money, employees money , tax payers money,( but not his since he never even paid the 20% that he owed.) The only year Romney paid more in taxes then he owed was 2011(and Romney is allowed to amend those tax returns to recoup all of it in future. And if he had been elected President then Paul Ryan's tax reform plan would have enabled Romney to pay a mere 0.82%. So, Romney was making a calculated gamble, what corporate sharks do ,then lament that they 'win some;lose some .

<quoted text>Cutting embassy funding for unnecessary expenses in embassies who are not located in the most dangerous parts of the world has nothing to do with the Obama administration doing nothing for an ambassador and Americans in grave danger and trying to pretend like it wasn't a terrorist attack for days and days and days and, in Obama's case, weeks and weeks and weeks afterwards.

This coverup and "dereliction of duty" had nothing to do with cutting unnecessary expenses in embassies where there was no imminent danger and resucing the ones who were.

It costs nothing to tell the friggin' truth why they were not.
So that's a yes.
Republicans defunded embassy security.
Thanks.

So with Sanford's win I guess we'll never hear another word from a rightwinger about Clinton.

Sanford actually ran for office with people knowing about his infidelities and still Republicans voted him in.

Hypocrites.

What this all boils down to is a political circus. It's no surprise that Republicans are targeting the strongest Democratic candidate for 2016 as well as the sitting Democratic president: Their goals are transparently political. For them, this isn't about the substance of what happened in Benghazi. It's about winning an election three years from now, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone: It's just how Republicans roll.

And I don't want some nobody in the Obama administration "falling on the sword" in an attempt to appease the clueless and continue the coverup of protecting him and the next "heir" to the throne, Hillary Clinton.

That would be the most aggregious indignaton in this ongoing fiasco of party loyalty covering up the truth as to why there are four dead Americans.

As I've posted very many times Carol__the bulk of those "green" companies were founded well before Obama took office and took advantage of various state local and federal tax incentives, grants and loan guarantees as far back as the Clinton administration.
