It wasn't an analogy. I was pointing out homers priorities. Homer was smart enough to figure that out, what's your malfunction?
Hoe you figure Homre figured it out?? That's just a dumb statement to give you cover. Didn't work.

Homer should be more concerned about Africa than Walmart's abuse of it's American employee base??

Nice try, but it was stupid any way you look at it.

Homer says Walmart, you reply with Africa.

One has nothing to do with the other, but you attempt to change the subject and excuse Walmart's predatory behavior.

Maybe folks like Rmoney will have that. Not likely at all. It's all pie in the sky nonsense.
The capability will be there, but who can afford to have their groceries delivered?? Gas will be $10 a gallon in 10 years. DUH
Poor rednecks like you will still be cruising the aisles of Wally World and schlepping it home.
Carol will be on food stamps.
I hate to break this to you but there is this thing called internet shopping now where you click on an item, pay for it with your card, and somebody brings it to your house. It is only a logical progression to ordering everything that way. One store chain here, forget which one, already allows you to call in your order and it is ready when you get there. Better get ready for the future dude it is here.

<quoted text>That app has been in the works for a while now, a fellow I know from the VFW club spends a couple of hours per day scanning test products at select local stores.
He gets paid a nice hourly fee plus mileage___good gig for a retired guy.
At some point however honesty becomes an issue with these sorts of apps, self checkout lanes etc.
How did I know this big shot would have to try and one-up flack?

<quoted text>I can definitely see that happening, by then the unemplyment rate will be about 25% and with all that automation will be expected. Who knows with more and more technology there may be a time when very few people actually work for a living.

Supply and demand__who knew that the US would end up with the supply eh?
Not true, for a variety of reasons, mostly cost of production, commonly called lifting costs.

Williston Basin or not, the estimates are far too rosy. Though we'll produce more oil, we'll still need about 40% imported oil.

As far as shale natural gas, have you ever seen the charts showing the rate of decline??

They can't drill and frack fast enoough to keep up with the rate of decline of each well. This is true for Marcellus, Barnett, Eagle Ford, etc.

A lot of it is 'Happy Talk'.

I stand by that estimate. We'll see.

Walmart is a publicly held corporation thus not private.

Cargill is the largest private company Koch Industries the second largest.

Exxon is the largest by revenue.

WalMart is the largest in number of employees.

Always happy to help Flacko.
