Really stupid? Don't you think that unneeded tax cuts, unnecessary wars and Medicare part D which prevented the government from negotiating lower drug prices had anything at all to do with the debt?<quoted text>
May I also add that not only is it your party who points fingers at everyone but themselves but do it while digging us deeper in the hole.
Republicans have had to sit on the sidelines waiting for their turn to actually correct the mistakes of the past and forced to sit and watch the digging process while dirt from the hole is being slung in their faces.
All the Republicans are interested in is cut, cut, cut and never in the history of civilization has anyone ever cut their way to prosperity. In the 1950's when Eisenhower took office our debt was 125% of GDP. He dealt with it not by cuts but investing in infrastructure like the Interstate Highway system and the St. Lawrence Seaway which put people to work and stimulated commerce. He also raised the minimum wage which put money into people's pockets which they spent on goods and services. Unfortunately today's GOP doesn't have that kind of vision.
