HARDSHIP #7: DEALING WITH COLIC – For girls/women who are unaware, colic is a long period of crying, screaming and shrieking that can last for many hours a day, and even all night. It can begin when the baby is as young as three weeks old, and it can go on until the baby is five months old. My son had colic for almost two months as an infant. For me, it seemed more like two years. During that time, the crying usually began in the early evening and would last until past midnight. I would walk around the small apartment, carrying him in my arms, for hours trying to comfort him, but nothing I did really worked. He wouldn’t eat, and he most certainly didn’t sleep, and I was a wreck as a result. Being deprived of sleep, with a colicky baby on top of that, can really feel like torture for a mom after a while. I was no exception.

There is no escaping the fact that becoming a mother makes a girl’s/woman's life much HARDER and she loses most, if not all, of the benefits and comforts she had before she got pregnant.

Girls and young women who have no children now need to know about these hardships long before a pregnancy ever happens, so they can PREVENT unwanted pregnancy to the best of their ability. If some girls/women decide they never want to struggle with the hardships of motherhood, that is fine too. The choice for a woman to be childfree is just as valid and respectable as the choice to be a mother.

Yeah, and the right to be free FROM religions and gods has ALSO been part of the United States of America.

So YOU will also have to continue to be offended...like when someone like me criticizes or insults religion in general and YOUR religion in particular. Don't like it? Too bad.

I'm not offended. When a person like yourself has only one talent [criticizing] I have to understand that you are only doing what you know how to do. Mother Theresa said--" You do what you know and when you know better, you do better."

It is very self-demeaning.
#1: you are wrong. America does not have a national language. There is no official language of the US. Provide some links to back up your claim.

#2: your lame attempt at insulting further shows your inability to understand simple English.

Please continue to have your head up your arse, stInky.

You're no Christian. You're just an arrogant, ignorant fool who lies to try and support your narrow minded beliefs.

Amazing that you judge someone you've never met as having only 1 talent and regard your opinion as reality.

Yes there were people who want things changed..there have always been
Some of them most people like me ignore because they are out there. Way far.
And I don't give money fir anyone's politics.
When I looked up Religious Right as someone asked..got it ..But even wiki and one of the supposed leaders says we have lost out on our values.
For this huge so called theocracy conspiracy ...They are nit very good at it as far as I can tell.
Obtaining give money to political drug or groups. If I can to CHARITY
AND YES KATIE I read both parts of your post ..only answers the last..And no answer but any way will do AGSIN in more detail ..And please read some links
Now in the sixties was,a,far out proposal to change the US,..written by as an idea. We should have taken more notice as it is obvious from our last 4O years ..well longer..They are the ones pervading the schools. CREATING a country more and more dependant..And fir about a decade the spearhead is one multimillionaire who has given us the idea that Daddy Fed should provide for everything while he uses his money all over destabilizing where he chooses...his tax exempt orgs push people and policies that frankly will bankrupt us..
It's nit just him ..it is just his money. And this power broker he has brought to fruition these notions that have pushed our politics fir decades.
One man behind the scenes moving pieces..And half the country being sold a bill of goods, through the media, and schools ..But many politicians realizing their dreams..see I don't get the very rich telling us working people we need to pay more..And encouraging a welfare system which gives just enough yo secure votes..But keep the people voting fir more goodies.
You can laugh at the idea dubbed trickle down..And frankly very little if it git to me.
But a richer man or company can employ more people.
My hubby lost his job ..We had to let the guy who cuts our lawn go..He has kids he supports..told me we weren't the only ones..
He in turn may not buy a new mower..les business fir the mower store.
The government cannot hire everyone ..not continue indefinitely to go g e out money.
People like my hubby eith no job on a fixed income pay LESS taxes..the lawn guy makes less he pays less too.
If you sell say books ...glasses..you wind up with less business when people have less money..they don't replace things either..just make do.
And giving t o worthwhile charities..firget that's,last on the list if you have little money
It's called belt tightening and we all do it..Washington does not..where did all the outrage on the deficit go..It's at least tripled
Socialism does, nit work as an economy ..
Ok done with the speech .
FOUND A FEW LINKS. Just in case anyone wants to look at this, stuff from the other side.
Frankly we do best when C congress and the White house are not in lock step..but hey that is just imo

Agree, while people are fussing about the phrases "in God we trust" and ":under God", our government are making laws to spy on us, circumventing our right to privacy and rights for warrants and due process and all. People forget these abuses can be used against both the left and right, Democrats and Republicans, etc..

Some things even people who disagree on these things, should stand together on before there no use standing at all.

Whether you believe in any god or not; there's a lot of wisdom in those books. One can't expect someone who names themselves feces to realize that though.

There's nothing in the Constitution that says you have the right to be free from religious expression of others.

You do have the right to free association, so don't go to church or religious rallies!

I understand English just fine. I don't understand you. Cpeter asked me the same question without all the double talk and I said calling God Allah is fine with me but wouldn't make much sense since the pledge is in English recited by English speaking people.
It makes no sense to put any reference to a 'god' on our currency, regardless of what its name is.

'E Pluribus Unum', was perfect - In God 'We' Trust, is a lie.

'WE' is everyone - even those of us who don't worship any god, or combination of gods.

Pardon my (and Eric's) French.
As for 'standing up for my right to disagree with you,' you've so far done a very substandard job, what with accusing me of quaffing Kool-Aid, and what-not.
None of my assertions have indicated a desire on my part to be free from disagreement with anyone...just from legislation which requires me to submit to the doctrine or sentiments of a religion to which I don't subscribe.
:)
Interesting. Pro-death individuals views became our law. Now innocent human lives in their earliest stages of life and development are being put to death for it.

To coin a phrase "Who the f*ck are you to turn your views into my laws"?

I'll add; "who the f*ck are you to kill another human because YOU don't want to mother your child"?

To the deadbeat dads; "Who the f*ck are yoh to use a girl for your own selfish sexual desires and then
abandon her AND your child beecsuse you don't want to fathed and helo raise your child. And to deny your child the rights to grow upnwithout a father"??

The view that a woman has the same rights as a man, has been law since 1921.

If you agree that women should have the right to vote, and you exercise that right, I guess you can thank the 'pro-death' individuals who campaigned without ceasing until that right was recognized....since that was their view as well.
