Good luck to you! You want to shut down the very people trying to protect this country from theocracy. You say you don't support a theocracy, but you are Christian and you do support those people trying to usurp the Constitution and our civil rights. Not every American is Christian, though. So to legislate Christian values and rule on these in courtrooms shuts down every citizen following a different faith.
It *is* the Religious Right you need to be concerned about. The link I offered again is full of factual information. Full of the Religious Right's entire history. Don't be afraid to read it, Rose. Even just a bit at a time.
Maybe you'll understand what I am saying when this country is told it's Catholic. And that you have to follow the Catholic faith. Or their version of it anyway.
You don't make any sense at all.

For instance what is the Catholic 'version' of the Catholic faith?

I get sick and discouraged everytime I think that mothers like you are walking on earth when you let other mothers DIE because their fetuses were of more value.
What? Do mother killing clinics exist?
Is there a new SCOTUS ruling allowing babies to have unwanted mothers? And this allows them to abort their mothers?

At least their mother's can fight back!

And you think this poster just walked right by a mother killing clinic, and didn't care, she just walked on?

All I can say is, YOU'RE FROM ANOTHER WORLD! And you referred to another poster as delusional?

You mean that there were more than a million abortions a year before the pill?

Illogical, contraception is not a sure way to avoid pregnancy.
Abstinence is.
Contraception is like bait and switch schemes. It baits people into having sex, thinking they are safe from pregnancy. But WHAM, next thing they know, they are PREGNANT!
Pro abortion people love it. It feeds them more patients for the slaughter.
The Big Money people love it, money one way or another by buying contraception or abortion care.
Abstinence is not just the only sure way, its free.
My bet is your not sincere either.

Do you Seriiuosly believe that a tt t his time in this country ..young people will all practice abstinence ..That is not going to happen.

Not in the decades, before the pill and not after.

I wish Roe had never become law..

But I think contraception can keep at least half of these abortions from happening going even by JMs statistics.

It's not going to end ..this ending of human life..it's become too ingrained sadly.

But if they d o not get pregnant until they are ready ..No abortion.

We can pray that each woman chooses to not have one. We can support our local CPC..BUT unless we educate our kids of ALL the consequences of hooking up...And protect them from their folly...which has happened fir many GOOD teens .

We will continue to have these numbers go up every year..

Thing is there is much more acceptance now. Less to push a woman towards abortion than in my day. imo
Unfortunately, proabort parents raise their children to be proaborts.....and so......the cycle of a pro-death society continues.....

They make no excuses today for killing as choice.

Yet, these same peolle will think that Gosnell was HORRIBLE maniac for keeping his days work( dead babies) as souvenirs. Go figure, right?

Oh...or the Susan Smiths of the world are HORRIBLE monsters for killing their unwanted born child

Like I said, no pregnancy would be the obvious way to prevent killing for proaborts. I have my religious beliefs and you have your ways of preventinv pregnancy... but guess what Katie? At the end of the day if both of us got pregnant anyway, my baby would stay alive and be loved regardless and yours would be killed and then dumped in the days trash like garbage.

I know my body, why? Because I'm in tune with it. I know that sex leads to pregnancy. If I have sex when fertile I know that fhere is a possibility that I may get pregnant. If for whatever reason I must avoid pregnancy then I abstain ONLY when fertile.

3 million abortions per hear jn this country alone Katie. You people have NO respect for the beautiful gift of sex OR your own flesh and blood. ALL the artificial birth confrol in the world won't change that tragic fact I'm afraid :(

And your kind won't rest until every fertile woman on earth is legally reduced to being an incubator for the infertile.

There are waiting lists of gay couples too....why not stump for THEM to be adoptive parents....oh wait...you also want to be in charge of who gets to raise kids and who doesn't.

What a maroon.

And sorry I did not elect nit pay TH e I R S to fight political battles.

GEORGE BUSH was,pres..He had Congress for a while.

The only religious thing he did was pray for 911 victims along with everyone else in a Church ..Oh he said God bless America..So do most of them.
There was no theocracy proposed nor voted on..you have made these words and people into boogeyman men.

So they want religious values..your admin wants socialistic ones.

Yes, I seriously do because many already do. And if they seriously don't want to be pregnant, they will, because no contraception is a guarantee. Abstinence is a guarantee.

Some will also not be abstinent, but they don't seriously care whether they will become pregnant either. That's why many don't always use it, while they could be. That's also why they don't use it correctly even after instructed. I was posting to a poster who acted like pregnancy was slavery and was seriously against it. Yet, I don't believe that poster was sincere.

People who seriously don't want pregnancy will do what they have to to avoid it. So its crap to say one doesn't want to be pregnant, that pregnancy is slavery, yet they do what causes pregnancy.

Abortions are higher than ever before Roe v Wade, even though contraception has been available. Contraception has not halted abortions, only been a bait and switch scheme to encourage sex outside of marriage, which also bring higher choices to abort.

The numbers will go up as promiscuity does, whether contraceptives are available or not. Abstinence needs to go up to make abortions go down. Abstinence needs to go up to bring STD's down, too. With our sexual revolution, we not only have MORE abortions, but also more STD's than ever before.

People need to be serious about abstinence, it teaches self control, which brings good results in other areas of life as well. We also have financial problems like never before due to lack of self control. Lack of self control bleeds into every area of life.

Big money loves it because the money goes into their pockets and makes those who can't control themselves poor.

Nobody has to die. Both Mother and child are valuable and worthy of protection.

Don't know about you but YES my children(regardless of their age, size, location, maturity levels , location etc) are just as much valuable as am I. God created us ALL in his image and likeness.
In fact Katie, as a Mom, MY children come first. Its jjst who I am. It's an instinct to protect my children.

I would NEVER intentionally or deliberately kill my child to save my own.

Sorry.

No. Those are the words spoken. Even written. But when push comes to shove, the actions show in countries where abortion has been criminalized, women die for lack of a life-saving abortion. And we all know actions speak louder than words.

The pill opened the door wide open to irresponsible behavior.

What do you expect will happen when a kid is raised by parents who condone premarital sex Rose? Answer ; premarital sex.

The multiple partners throughout their life..

Then being used for sex..

Then STDS

Then unplanned pregnancy.

Then abortion.

Then single parenting (kids living with one parent most livinlg with an absent/deadbeat dad)

Then divorce

I was raised by two parents who lived and taught values and morals. I had a very open relationship with my parents. I raise mine the same way. Do we have temptations?? You bet. I knew right from wrong though and I avoided the near occassion of sin as best as I could.

Put it this if my mom and dad condoned premarital sex in any way shape or form REGARDLESS of them tellinv me to wait OR if they allowed sexually themed tv shows movies or computers with no block on it or were divorced with sleepovers bf/gf.,then i would have sex too.

You can't tell a kid not to do something without a concrete reason behind it. They need EXAMPLES to learn from. They need strong morals to become followers of positive actions. I may of nkt liked the rules but i understood why. My kidsndo too.
If God was not the center of our lives FOLLOWED by good role models then things for me would be different.
