Ok, so I guess there WAS something to all of this. I just thought he was using it as an excuse to get out of Dodge, but I suppose folks up there weren't as tolerant as they should have been.

Good luck to all parties as they move beyond this.

They "mutally resolved their differences". I'm sure that really means somebody got paid off.

I hope the Muncie Police didn't have a hand in the investigative work.
They should clean house there, top to bottom. Flush the system out. While they're at it, they should figure out who was responsible for letting the men's hoops program become a MAC doormat to the likes of Kent St. and Central Michigan and make sure that person never works in collegiate sports again.
I never thought I'd long for the good old days of Ray McCallum.

But yet there will be a few that argue that blacks just need to get over it.

Ryan, that was the funniest thing I've seen so far today. And, sadly, I'm sure someone will seriously post something just like it on this forum.

Very amusing. Do you really want to compare Indianas" negative history to Californias'?

It is a shame that when someone who charges anyone of racist behavior, that they have to go through hell or high water to do. Most of the time the people who determines what is racist have never been through it before. Most of them are not black or minority and they wouldn't know what racism is. Racism is like the cotton that black folks picked in the south durring slavery times. It's the fabric of our lives.

I predict that within 10 posts, someone will assert that John Thompson, his son at Georgetown, and Ronny are all "racists", without actually backing up their assertion with any actual facts.

This is what happens when you mix a dirthole town (Muncie) and a bunch of first-generation college students from farm towns.

If not, we would have heard the lawsuit paperwork shuffle all the way down here in Indy.
