It's a shame that the SEC thinks they are above criticism. They can "reprimand" Coach Petrino all they want. I am glad we have a coach with the guts to tell it like it is. You HAVE tell the players that the officials didn't cost them the game.. You don't want them feeling sorry for themselves and blaming the refs for every loss. At the same time I think a coach owes it to the fans to at least recognize that bad officiating played a role in a big loss like the one against Florida.

My opinion is: He should not have been repremanded. He
just wants the officials to call the game fairly and
honestly. Isn't that what everyone wants? What would
everyone be saying if he hadn't said a word at all?

The SEC suspended the refs (showing that they were wrong) and are still reprimanding Petrino for saying that the refs were making bad calls? I know it may be insubordination, but I am glad he did it. The pass interferance call, then the blocking call (both bad) led the Gators up field by 30 yards allowing them to score the touchdown. I don't believe they would have scored on that drive which would have made it a whole different ball game. They weren't going to let the Gator's lose, period. In cases such as this, there should be a re-match. Especially when the refs are suspended for bad calls. It's like saying, okay, the game was rigged but we are still going to give the Gators the win. On top of everything, Ryam Mallet should be ahead of Tebow for Heisman... Look at the season stats! Going into the Game, Mallet had 1,422 Passing Yards versus Tebow's 777 passing yards.(Almost Double!) Woooo-Pig Soooiee!
