Powers you suck. The Wolves actually did better than expected tonight and all you can do is spew negativity. Also it sounds like the Rubio signing is in the bag, RR just wants to keep the focus on his current team until the playoffs are over (the kid is not the primadonna everyone has made him out to be). To conclude, the number you should be calling Powers is 1-800-YOU-SUCK. When the team begins to turn things around next season, please do not even consider planting your fat butt on the bandwagon, because it will not fit. OK I'm done with you.

Doesn't the word best player mean anything? If Williams is better than Beasley, trade Beasley. You keep the best talents on your team. So far Kahn's been an idiot & will continue to be one. No wonder the t-pups go to the lottery on a yearly basis.

Wolves don't have a #1 pick next year Shooter. Its going to the Clippers (unprotected) via the Marko Jaric deal - thank you Kevin McFail!

This is the best thing that could have happened. This guy Irving is the "consensus number one pick" based on only 11 college games. He sat out the whole year with "turf toe." Hello durability?!?! the NBA season is 82 games long, folks. Bottom line -- he's no Russel Westbrook (dude hasn't missed a game in 3 yrs...) Williams looks like a star. Take him!

How about the idea that the worst team gets the first pick like the NFL does?! The theory that teams may "mail it in to get the first pick" is the biggest bull---- excuse I've ever heard. If so then why doesn't the NFL use it? In the last 31 yrs, only 8 different teams have won the NBA finals. In MLB, 9 different teams have won the World series in the last 10 yrs. That's called parody. What a joke the NBA is.

"True ineptitude must be rewarded! How about this: If a team really sucks for a five-, six-year stretch and then finishes with the worst record, it gets the No. 1 pick."
The Wolve's may not deserve that, but it's LONG-SUFFERING FANS surely do! Hosed again, naturally.

I have grown to hate the Lottery, might as well be Powerball because the Wolves have a 1:137,000,000 chance of getting a top draft pick. Don't think for one second that the Joe Smith contract doesn't come up each time the ping pong balls are in the hopper. The Don got his wish and will continue to make sure that certain teams rebuild through the draft instead of others.
Cleveland - Lebron Cleveland - 1 and 4 NY Knicks - Ewing Chicago - D Rose Orlando - Back to back #1 picks so people paid attention to a new franchise

Until the NBA gets rid of this crazy system, count me out a fan of this ridiculous league. When the inmates are running the prison, you know there are going to be problems.

Why would the NBA do all this rigging and not rig it for its premier market since 1984? Why would the league rig the lottery for Cleveland? Why not rig it for Golden State which is the league's sixth biggest market? Why would one of the NBA's smallest markets, San Antonio, get the number one pick in 1987 and 1997? Why did Utah move up in this year's lottery?

The Wolves should take Enes Kanter with their pick, they would have an awesome front court with Love, Beasley and him, the best in the NBA.
