They'll get the 3rd pick because there are only 2 great players.

Also, taking that fool Paul Allen to the lottery last year? A loser team picking a bigger loser to go with them. This team just curses itself (like I curse them when I watch them play).

Yeah the Wolves have created created a lot of misery themselves through stupid moves and dumber front office hires. That being said the NBA is a joke that the worst NFL. Seems like if some non-major market team does get to draft a star you can count on them bolting to major markets and warmer climes once free agency comes around. That or demand a tradee and dictate where. If the NFL was run like that Green Bay would have a roster full of scrubs and duds. So just to save time for everyone lets recap tonight and the draft. Wolves will draft 4th then proceed to swap their pick. That traded player becomes a valuable starter and our guy is a turd.

Randy Foye, Corey Brewer, OJ Mayo, and then the most meaningless 2 picks of all: Rubio and Flynn. Ugh.

Maybe Rubio has a friend in Spain who wants to be drafted to the NBA.

Since 1985, a team on either of the coasts has gotten the top pick 17 times. 3 other times it was either Chicago or Houston. So in 25 years, teams in fly-over country have gotten the top pick only 5 times. So can you guess the chances that the Wolves will get the top pick? Seems to me that the lottery is more corrupt than the system it was supposed to replace. The league must really be struggling to fix the lottery this year with the three teams with the worst records are all in fly-over country.

First this draft lottery is a bunch of BS and doing it behind closed doors is even more of an absurdity. And then have it validated by an accounting firm is riduclous.

Now assumming MN does get the first pick in the draft this organization would do something stupid with it like pick someone who won't sign and then we have to trade or even better just trade him out of the blue

Dear Mr. Kahn,
Please get us the first pick, take Irving, trade Rubio for a top 5 pick, take Biyombo and then trade our other pick and cap space to Chicago for Asik.
Thank you.

San Antonio is the one of the two smallest markets in the entire NBA. David Robinson #1 overall in 1987 and Tim Duncan #1 overall in 1997.

How do the Bulls and Knicks finish 7th and 9th in the lottery in 2003 when Lebron, Wade, Carmelo and Bosh are all off the draft board before they'll pick?

Kind of funny how san antonio always gets a talented big man in the lottery isn't it SORB? I'm betting the next time they are in the lottery and a skilled big man is the bets player in the nation san antonio will get # 1. You just proved it is fixed SORB.

What are you complaining about? The Raps dropped from 3rd to 5th and need the player they take with this pick to be a star in the worst way. Toronto was screwed the most here.

Allow me to clue you in:

This is a Minnesota paper's website, and no one here give's a rat's a$$ about Toronto.

Raptors is a stupid name, anyway. Those things have been extinct for millions of years.

No one said anything about the T-Wolves being better.

You're obviously stupid, so I'm going to try to make this even more clear for you:

This is a Minnesota news publication, so people who read it generally don't give a rat's a$$ about the Toronto Raptors.

Why don't you go cry on some Toronto board with the 12 other people who care about the Raptors?
