It was a big day for area track & field athletes at the Mid Penn Conference Championships on Friday at Central Dauphin's Landis Field -- three area standouts came home with gold medals.

Wow, again the PO has neglected to mention that Nathaniel Witter won the guys pole vault and besting the competition by 1'3" with a new school record jump of 14'3"!! Way to go PO you never cease to amaze. I am sure alot of people didn't even know that he had jumped 14' a couple weeks ago to set the school record because an article that was wrote and sent to the PO never seen the light of day.
