Even with Lute retiring, they have enough talent
to make it for the 25th straight year with Wise, Hill, Budinger, and others. Their lack of depth will hurt, though. As for next year, they will have NO chance given they have no commitments from the previous recruits due to Coach O retiring. I knew this day would eventually come, but I had hoped the transition from Olson to the next head coach would not skip a beat in terms of recruiting but now they will probably miss the NCAAs for at least 3 maybe 4 years. Patience will be key for the next coach and us fans. I hope we get either Mark Few or Jamie Dixon, both proven winners in their respective schools. |
