As an alumnus of the UIUC, I suggest that we allow native-americans to pass into history as an anecdote like the woolly mammoth and the neaderthal. The mascot has turned from something honorable and proud into a symbol of a group of whining, anti-culturalists. Dump it for a Pitbull. At least you know the Pitbull will eventually turn.
