If UNM would stop handing out Golden Parachutes left right and in-between, maybe the coaches would be more inspired.
And make it better by making their compensation similar to other sales people they are - 60% fixed and the rest depends on performance: wining percent, academics, fan attendance, etc.

Speaking of clueless, if you select the little "Reply" thingy in the upper right hand corner of the post, you can respond without "cut and paste".

Just a thought.

Well at least Locksley has addressed the critical problem of staffing the office with hot admins. I suspect he took time our of his busy schedule to personally conduct those interviews.

Stop the bleeding of assets, pride and student morale; do the right thing there's Harakari or the less violent simple resignation. You never cared about the state, the alums, the students or the taxpayers. This was a fast easy buck from your perspective.
The students get money for athletics via student fees, the state gave you over 3 million dollars for athletics and it was probably your genius( or lack of) that created the pay to park concept. Rather than blaming Coach Locksley, look to yourself as the cause of much of the problem.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes for coach Alford to bring in a real winner.
As you exit, take Schmidly and your wife with you.
3 million dollars for athletics. Are you kidding me. That doesn't pay to pave the parking lot. What I will do however is buy you a ticket to the next game and front you the $5 for parking so you don't have to ask your mother for an advance to your allowance. Once again New Mexicans are clueless. This is another guy on welfare without a job.
AS Ronald Reagan once said, " There you go again."

First, I suggest you go to Means( either the hard copy or the online version)and get an accurate estimate of paving costs( that's asphalt).

Second, give me your address so I can pick up the ticket and the $5.00.

Third, You have absolutely who I am or what I do.

Third, it's intuitively obvious to me that you have no idea what it's like to be on welfare; if you did you might have a bit of empathy for the multitude of New Mexicans in that plight.

Fourth, I'm sure people in that situation have better things to do with their time than watch losing football on a Saturday.

Fifth, You strike me as an intellectual " lightweight" whose most exciting daily activity is pontificating on blogs like this as you have little to offer in the way of constructive commentary.

I'm waiting for a ticket and $ 5.00 pickup location.

I'm almost sure President Reagan said this more than once. I'm almost sure that New Mexico will win a football game, at least for the next game.

Actually, if you bother to check, I think you'll find that he only said it once-and that was during a presidential debate( But it probably took him three weeks to memorize the line). Nevertheless, what has that got to do with the germane issue of my comment and/or opinion?

It took me about 3' and 30" to check. He said it during the presidential debates between Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale. Most likely more. There you go on your inquiring mind.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe I stated he said it during a presidential debate. Your comment, " Most likely more." is nebulous and does not indicate specificity as to the other times he employed the phrase. Similarly, in the context of my anecdotal discourse, I, once again query, " How is this germane to the intent of my central theme? More relevantly, in the scheme of things does one or two times make a significant difference? Again, "most likely" somehow rings hollow.
BTW- does 3'30'' imply 3 feet, 30 inches or 3 minutes and 30 seconds? Any engineer sees that as the former.

Neither. I mean to convert to longitude. Sorry if you are confused.
