Yeah its easy to be encouraged when you have 1 win in the middle of November and you are talking about how your inept QB looked in the middle of the week at practice. What?

I cant help but think about how humbling of an experience this must be for Weiss and all those highly ranked recruits who have never lost these many games in probably their whole career.

It may end up being a positive in the end and serve as motivation for these young players to never want to feel like they feel right now again in their careers. Sometimes you have to take everything away, even your pride, before you realize that you arent going to be given anything just because you think you are someone. That is when a very good, strong coaching staff can turn young inexperienced players into hardened veterans who have seen the tough times and have risen up against them and overcame them. That is invaluable in sports......experience.

We will see if ND has such a coaching staff.

Never mind the 5 int. to 1 TD ratio, Air Force will surely be psyched out when they learn that Charlie said Jimmy "looked better" and Charlie doesn't "know the cause of that".

Thanks for the link, Shelly. It's interesting to read those comments now from when Charlie Weiss was hired:

"I'm here because expectations weren't met. And my job here is to raise those expectations," said Weis, wearing a Super Bowl ring only slightly smaller than the Golden Dome. "You are what you are, folks, and right now you're a 6-5 football team. And guess what? That's just not good enough."

Thanks, with all the the misinformation, the links show what was advertised and what they now say. See below and why I still push for Tom Clements as Coach:

Why, mid way through the season, is there all of a sudden no reason to put any blame on Tyrone?
This co*ksucker left this team with no depth on the O and D line and a horrible future.
Nothing has changed since the beginning of the year concerning Tyrone and his recruiting.
Charlie has tons of blame to take for horrible development, but Tyrone dug this hole for us all.
Just because we are almost done with the season doesn't mean you get to cast aside the horrible job that Tyrone did.

Trust me Joe, a year from now nobody will care about Tyrone as he ruins another major program.
Charlie will have plenty splaining to do Lucy if he doesn't right the ship quickly next year.
That goes for you too Charlie Brown.

Charlie gets 90% of the blame for losing to Navy.
Air Force is actually a decent team.
