Meyer has won two of the last three national titles. Saban has won a national title and been Coach of The Year two times. Miles and Meyer's teams proved the disparity between their program and ours. USC humbled us two years in a row. When JT wins a title (without an assist from Cooper) I'll shut up about his choice of assistant coaches. IMHO Luke Fickell and Darrell are the only ones worth keeping. But as long as we win the lame Big Ten and beat a terrible Michigan team nothing will change. If Pryor doesn't get a LOT better OSU will never get a #1 nationally ranked QB under this staff. To date the fifth string QB at UC is a better QB than Prior.
At least there is one person that is a Buckeye Fan that has a logical brain. Meyer, Caroll and Saban are so much better coaches than PEE WEE TRESSEL it is not even funny and at least "Bucknaked" has figured it out. This year OSU will be Oregon's DOORMAT in the Rose Bowl. Yes, "IT'S GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR"!!!.

There's something about the way that word is spelled that actually makes me believe it /more/. Call something "ridiculous", and I take it with a grain of salt. Call something "rediculous", and I stand up and take notice! I wonder why.

Maybe I get the feeling that the writer is unpretentious and honest. I get the feeling that I will get nothing but stark naked reality from such a writer.

POOR QB PRYOR!!! His ankle hurts. I feel so sorry for him. You never hear GATOR QB TEBOW complain about an injury. Playing in the "WEAK 11", just makes you mentally weak. Your streak of losing to Top 10 Teams should end this weak. OSU 24, Iowa 14. IT'S GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR!!!
You don't hear from Tebow because whenever he gets in a bind, the officiating crew bails him out. Then he and his girlfriend (Urban Meyer) go out for Appletinni's!!!

Bnaked, Thank you for making my point. None of the coaches I mentioned have produced NFL QB's. Assist from Cooper? The skill position players on that team were frosh and soph's. It appears you may prefer those Coop days of putting up big offensive numbers and never winning anything. That said, I absolutely agree that changes must be made. Bollman, and Siciliano must go. Heacock also needs to be looked at very closely.

Look at the bright side bnaked, at least you have someone on here who pretty much agrees with everything you say. That would be gary gator.

I've seen several of your posts and I can't help but wonder what qualifications you possess that enables you to say tOSU has only 2 asst coaches worthy of employment. And, apparently, lucky for all of us, but, especially lucky for you, Coop still enjoys helping Tress with the team. If you really believe the Bearcats 5th string qb is better than Pryor, you should be sending your allegiance to them. The Big 10 is not lame, and I'm sick and tired of hearing a bunch of you yahoos say it! And regardless of where Michigan and tOSU are ranked, you will never find a game with such a fierce rivalry and long-withstanding traditions. Some may come close, but, none will ever match it. If you were truly a fan, you wouldn't care if we were ranked 100th and 101st in the polls, you would know, it's an integral part of being a Buckeye AND a Wolverine!

what a butt smucher you are.first of all saban couldn't beat any one when he was in the B-TEN,second of all meyer is 1-1 against the vest3)cooper had the same team that he handed to tressel and lost to UM and s,carolina twice, simply because he couldn't reccognize the QB talent he had sitting on his bench.so I ask you what help did tress receive from, coop?pryor will be fine,he gets better with the passage of every game.last week he beat the best defense in the league,.with any luck he'll ein the next 2,but i'm sure you'll find something to cry about you fkn child, with fans like you who needs enemies.

If Pryor goes down to injury and the Buckeye has another substandard performance then regretably it would be a long and frustarting day at The Shoe for Ohio State. On the other hand, if Terelle stay healthy and our OL plays mean and hungry the entire game tOSU will win handily. Except for the Purdue game the defense has played truely inspired all season so the key to this game lies with the offense. We'll all witness the result of this quandry very soon now. I for one am hoping and expecting the best possible performance from the Buckeyes... so I say Ohio State 31 - Iowa 13.

I hope you took your meds today. True Saban couldn't win with the second tier talent he had to settle for at MSU. He beats EVERYONE now. He may even beat Meyer this week. Meyer and JT may be 1-1 but Meyer won the game everyone remembers. If you don't believe JT inherited a ton of talent from Coop, you are in denial. Pryor played well last week because his role was very, very limited. He didn't turn the ball over. JT was determined not to put the game on his shoulders to lose. With the proper coaching Pryor can be a great player. Sorry that the truth is so painful. Now take another pill.

This isn't a movie! BRING IT! I'm pretty sure we can all handle your version of the truth. Whether or not we believe it is something else! And fyi, whenever a coach is replaced, he inherits talent. It's what that coach does with that talent that is telling. You just like to spout off your opinions and don't care to back 'em up!

The main theme of my threads is that Jim Bollman has not performed and Nick Siciliano is not qualified. Here are three "can't miss" high school all Americans that OSU landed, Alex Boone, Kyle Mitchum and Connor Smith. Where are they now? The line has been weak since JT took over and Bollman came along. Nick Mangold is the only success story that I can think of. Over the past five years JT does not stack up to the results produced by Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. I didn't mention those coaches until JT was compared to them by another poster. I do feel that JT is a man of integrity that does a wonderful job of providing the tools these young men need to be successful in life. He is just too loyal to his inner circle of cronies to hire the coaches that OSU deserves. As long as Michigan is a bad team and we win that game it won't change. Until he hires the best assistant coaches OSU will not win a national title. They will continue to dominate the Big Ten and if that satisfies you, that's your prerogative. If you would like me to elaborate on a specific comment, let me know and I will do my best to back it up with facts. If anyone is the least bit critical of the "program" they are ostracized. When it comes to his staff JT has settled for mediocrity, with the exception of a couple of fine coaches. And to use a phrase he rarely leaves out of a press conference… "and so on and so forth".

I will take issue that Bollman's performance is your main theme. Calling for his firing is your closing statement on every post. And, I will disagree with you that Siciliano is not qualified. Also, I don't think Tress has hired "friends and family". I truly believe he hires who he views as qualified individuals. I think we can all assume that most of Tress' friends are football familiar, so, if you're going to view that as favoritism, so be it. Also, for you to compare Saban and Meyer to Tress is absurd. tOSU is not going to have the same draw as warm climate schools. And, I still maintain that many of those schools will not have the sustaining fan base that tOSU enjoys. Time will tell on that one...strictly my opinion. As for the National Title, what is with everyone? As long as the BCS stays the way it is, even the smallest and most obscure schools can dream and strive for a National Title. It's like many of the American dreams. It's just not practical to think that one team will consistently win it year in and year out. And, as for your statement about anyone saying anything the LEAST bit critical they are ostracized, that's nuts! Your statement at the end of every post is not slightly critical, it's downright rude. Labeling Tress and his staff as settling for mediocrity is equally rude, and absolutely untrue. Ending your post with his "so on and so forth" is just nit picky. But then, these are just my opinions.

Spell check on "rediculous". Iowa's # 4 ranking was ridiculous. The Hawkeye's thrashing at the hands of Ohio St will be ridiculous.

Um yeah because "rediculous" is definitely a word. TP is creating a contingency plan, because he's so afraid of getting beaten by a 14.5 underdog, without its starting QB/RB, at home. It's all one huge conspiracy. I bet "The Vest" is the puppet master behind this awesome plan. Way to figure it all out.
No, this was all a plot by extraterrestrials. I was watching ABC news and they filmed the ships and the aliens. Apparently, they are reptile like creatures who use synthetic skin to hide their true identity. They are here to take over the world and enslave humantity. There first priority is to shake up college football..... Wait a minute. Was that the news or was that the new series V?
