Warming Climate Could Significantly Change Boise and Spokane Aquifer
People tend to focus on the here and now. The problem is that, once global warming is something that most people can feel in the course of their daily lives, it will be too late to prevent much larger, potentially catastrophic changes.A new study has found that a warming climate could decrease the water in the aquifer for both the Spokane River and Boise River basins, which provide drinking water for much of Idaho and parts of eastern Washington.
