Waste of taxpayer money. Typical.
If you are referring to Dumler, then yes it is. If you're referring to me...I have spent my own time and money for this petition and have not taken anything other than the cup of hot chocolate someone brought yesterday to Snow's. I did this because I believe it is right and did not do it for personal gain, any group, political party, etc.

To start, let me state--I AM a female and I LIVE in the Scottsville district. I have NOT and will NOT sign "Mr. Smith's" petition. I would like to know what his real reason is behind the petition. As for the person's comment who suggested that Mr. Smith should run for office--what a joke. He has come out of the woodwork to press for signatures on his petition, but I surely don't know of anything that he has done for the Scottsville district in his 50 years of living here. Perhaps operating clubs made him the master of judging others and helped put him in charge of cleaning up local politics.
I respect your opinion on not signing the petition. Just so you know..I do not and have never said I wish to take Dumlers place or be on the BOS. As for what I've done for the Scottsville District...I have participated in the Scottsville Chili Cook-Off over 16 times. I have coached Little League Football several times and Basketball at the Scottsville Rec Center. I have participated in "Toy's for Tot's" several times along with Tom Powell. And last but not least..owning and operating 3 local Restaurants/Bars and dealing with the public does make me a great judge of character.

I would have done this if it was a Republican or any other political party. I believe what I'm doing is right. I do not want to be Dumler's replacement or run for office. I was tired of all the name calling, fussing, back stabbing and still tired of it. I looked up the law, found out what I had to do and did it. Now leave it up to the court to decide if Mr. Dumler still deserves to keep his seat on the BOS

How many skeletons does a lip syncher (lead singer) in a cover band ( Aquatnett) have? Probably more than the amount of original songs he has written!
I am really honored you think I'm lip syncing because that means I sound really good and fooled you because I'm not lip syncing. I'm sure the 700-800 hundred people that come to see my cover band AQUANETT (spelled correctly if you'll notice) at the Jefferson would agree with me. I will gladly put you on the guest list in June when we play again and invite you on stage for a "lip syncing" contest if you think you can take me. Thanks for giving my twitter account some publicity as well.

I believe Mr. Smith is more interested in the proposed shooting range near his dads home than trying to do the right thing. He just found a stool pigeon pervert to push out for his own agenda. Politics at it's worst. Looking out for numeral uno. But the perv really needs to go.
The only thing about this comment you have correct is the last sentence. And I would replace "perv" with Dumler since I'm a nice guy. As for the Gun Range..that has nothing to do with the petition against Mr. Dumler. If I'm correct he also does not approve of the Gun Range at the Keene Landfill and has worked to find another location. So I would be "cutting my nose off to spite my face" if I was using Dumler as a "stool pigeon". I did what I feel is right. I did not do it for political gain for any group or party. I've said that a thousand times and now this makes it one thousand and one.

I don't care if he is Donald Duck or a little ole lady who used to live in Pasedena. SOMEBODY needed to get a petition organized to get rid of Dumler, and he stepped up to the plate. I know that he has spent considerable time collecting the signatures. If he has some personal issue that has added motivation to getting this done, I don't really care. Either way, Dumler still needs to be removed from office for being a sexual batterer, and Smith is making it happen.

Here is an Atlanta news site. It seems that Chris Dumler's reputation is following him home. His parents in Georgia must be so embarrassed. I'll paste it here: http://clasificadosatlanta.univision.com/Gene...

Oh yes, and I found this article on another comments section and will cut and paste it. It is from Chris Dumler's hometown area of Snellville Georgia. He went to high school there. I don't see how he can ever survive all this bad publicity. Here is the paste http://snellville.patch.com/topics/Christophe... I were his mother, I would be crying.

If Dumler had raped a family member or a friend of yours, would you still call it political? Sexual assault in any form is still unacceptable.

Go to WINA and listen to the podcast of Coy Barefoots interview with Dumler, especially at the end when the victim calls in.

There is the original side to this story too.

Earl does not have many skeletons, because he doesn't give a crap if the world knows what he does and who he is. He has one of the most amazing voices God ever gave a man, so go pick on someone you can handle. Earl is WAY out of your league.

Mr.Smith has not force paddled up anyone's Hershey highway. And he was proactive in getting something done that a lot of us wanted to do but did not do.

Most will think I'm joking but I have a serious legal question:

Could the county legally create a new district and add another supervisor.

What I'm saying is, the one or two people who do want Dumler to stay could be in his district.

Reduce his vote to be proportionate to the number of citizens in the "district." NO VOTING RIGHTS for his seat. His actual chair in the boardroom could be relocated to say, the broom closet. He could then serve out his term.

That article states he attended Georgia Tech. He should have joined the Navy; he no doubt would have made REAR ADMIRAL by now.
