That pass interference call was one of the worst calls in college football history. This is not a Great Gator Team but it is better than any team that OSU has ever fielded. If the Buckeyes were in the SEC you would have at least three loses and when was the last time OSU beat a Top 10 TEam? GO GATORS!!! Crock~ Hoping you're feeling better soon! Really!!!!

Yes I can read and so can the players and others who read for the coaches. Why else would the Vest say he's sorry for the way we feel.......Did someone whisper it to him? Yes, some of those ON THE STAFF of OSU can read also...... Yes this forum has several uses. It lets the Dispatch know people read their paper. Awesome WIN at Happy Valley. You can see the team growing stronger each week, since the Purdue loss. Pryor seems to be growing up right in front of our eyes with the line offering better protection against a supposedly tough Penn State defense.BUCKS defense was absolutely dominating and I love to watch them play. Zach Boren is a stud at fullback and since Coach Tressel started using him our offense/running game has improved. I'd like to see us use our tight ends more in the O scheme but hats off to Coach tressel and the boys. GO BUCKS...........

I felt this team had the talent but knew next year would be the year they would be elite again. Now we can still win the big ten even with this young team. And Tressel actually has called some inventive plays as well. Maybe there is hope even with this offensive coordinator... I still believe t.p. has the ability to be a great qb..but i see one flaw...not planting and throwing the pass..this i feel is the coaches failure ..teach the young man..too many times his problems happen when this happens

Very basic. What cannot be taught is instinct and reaction. All mechanics change when being pressured and ad-libbing. TP will always be a QB capable of extending the play with his feet and therefor he will be looking to throw while on the run. This is where I see him have the most problems with zip and accuracy. Hopefully, with improved line play and more confidence, these mechanical breakdowns will be less frequent. Go Buckeyes

The Rose Bowl is not a "consolation prize". The team should be proud and press on. The fans had better come out though on saturday and YELL for 60 minutes of football. Imagine what Iowa would do if they don't have ANY silence! GO BUCKS!

One answer for "Just Saying" about why a hater would take the time to enter a comment in a Buckeye forum. The term used is "trolling," which is a technique for catching fish. To troll, one slowly, very slowly, steers a boat around a body of water with the bait on hook dangling over the side. The purpose is to catch an unsuspecting fish that thinks the bait is a legitimate member of that watery community. The troller (or "troll") to whom you just responded has no interest in OSU football, but realizes that those who do are extrememly devoted and will defend any incursion into their world. Basically a troll cannot stimulate articulate responses with dialogue, so "pokes the breast," as if a 4 year old. It works. So it continues. Look at "Gaytor Gary" in this thread. He has more responses, is more quoted, than anyone else coming here for discussion of OSU football. I am sure he is extremely satisfied with his efforts. When he is again feeling anxious within his inadequacies, he will bait his hook again and fish in the Buckeye pond. I can just about guarantee it. Ignoring a troller's bait is the only method of forcing them to fish elsewhere.

Of course the Buckeyes will own November. Why wouldn't they? They beat an overrated Penn State. The only 2 good teams PSU played this season (Iowa and OSU)-- they lost and lost badly. PSU has no quality wins this season. And Iowa should be a much easier victory now with Stanzi out. So let's not gloat about that - though most of you delusions homers no doubt will after Saturday. And Michigan's defense is so bad that our offense should look brilliant against them. But then 6 weeks later I fear Tressel will go back to his usual one-page playbook, play not to lose rather than to win, and hand deliver a victory to the PAC 10 in the Rose Bowl.
Wins over Big 10 teams in an overall weak conference don't make Ohio State a good football team. Wins against good teams in good conferences, however, will. And we're still waiting for that to happen. And that clock has been ticking for 3 years now.

Thank you, Cleaves :-) I am well aware of all that you say, and debated with myself as to whether I should post anything - fully realizing I was indeed "taking the bait" and thus contributing to the problem. I guess there was some part of me, however small, that hoped to offer the "trolls" a mirror of sorts, to show them that investing such time and effort in responding to something that doesn't interest them is the ultimate in negative energy and counterproductivity. Silly of me, I know - from this point forward, I join you in not responding to these feeble attempts at self-justification. Gotta say, though: I took my daughter trolling this summer and she caught some dandy fish!

When choosing a posting nickname such as "DC Buckeye" does that mean you are a fan of OSU football??? Making posts like this one displays to all your true colors as an ambassador for your conference. You must be proud of your "reality" approach to cheering your team onward and upward ... I mean downward. Problem is "DC," that when OSU wins it all, the rest of us will see you standing tall at the front of the bandwagon waving your arms and saying what a great fan you've always been of "your" team, then as we recall today's post that you made, ask you to quietly sit down and shut up.

Also, you a gentleman or woman with the way you express yourself....here is my feelings about my Buckeyes; we haven't won a bcs game since 2005 against ND. As you and I are aware of, we've lost twice to USC, two NC's in a row, a bcs game against Texas, a lost to Purdue along with terrible coaching and perdictable play calling.....I feel (for what its worth)we played very, very well. It's been a very, very long time. So what you see are fans who have "suffered" for a while my friend, thats all.....GO BUCKS!!!!

With the integrity of the program, the character of the student athletes, and the high level of play on the field, I couldn't be more proud. Go Buckeyes
