The "pink pillows" Fairfield men's basketball coach Ed Cooley threatened to bring to practice after the Stags' loss to Bridgeport in their exhibition opener last Thursday never materialized, but his message about playing tougher was heard loud and clear by freshmen Derek Needham and Colin Nickerson.

It would be one thing if Fld beat a decent division I team by 11 but Stonehill is division II. I'm not very optimistic about the upcoming season.
