BTW, I was also happy to seem them get up and press the receivers on D and not allow "dink and dunk". Now they need to show that they can do that against teams that throw the ball better than PSU.

Whoever thinks JT coaches to not loose is crazy. He coaches to minimize mistakes with the talent he has - but it is always to win. By the way, he has been pretty successful at it too.

Tressel ball has worked well in Big Ten play but against other conferences... not so well. Tress usually more or less forfiets his 1st down on each drive by the ever so predictable run up the gut for a short or no gain. The true downside is Tressel ball keeps the more superior teams in the game where one late score can usually win it all. I personally don't prefer the he who scores last wins type strategy. It would be much better is coach would spice-up Tressel ball for the better teams by mixing in different plays on 1st downs and building a demanding point lead going into the 4th quarter of play... now wouldn't that be nice for a chance of pace?

i really can't believe you guys,tress is right you are a bunch of miserable wreches .i understand WHEN GUYS COMPLAIN ABOUT LOSES,but that was a big WIN against a very good top ten team,and tress called it right on the money,in fact that's two wins over high ranked teams.i f i hated some thing as much as you guys i'd turn the channel it's that simple.

Yes-the Big 10 leaves a lot to be disired......I guess we could recruit felons like the SEC........Tennessee and Florida lead the nation every year in arrests.....I actually think the league is getting a lot more parity.....there are no sleepers anymore. Just like the SEC back in the 80s and 90s (they were terrible)....you have got to get the right coaches in place, etc. I think that the big 10 is doing that. Too many fans, too much money...to be lagging too long.
