The Huskers are a great football team but I think they are in for a little surprise in the Big Ten. The Big Ten will offer lots of tough oponents EVERY week. They will be up for the big games but after about six or seven in a row they will get stung by an oponent that they consider inferior. It is what the Big Ten does...beat each other up. Look at last year in the Big Ten, Wisconson beats Ohio State, Michigan State beats Wisconson, Iowa beats Michigan State....It is what the Big Ten does. It makes a lot of difference when you play real teams week after week. Wyoming Cowboys, Etc won't be all Nebraska will play this year.Remember, Illinois is a tough football team anyday of the week, Northwestern will take you for a ride, Hey, what about Joe PA and the Nittny lions, oh hell Nebraska, start getting in shape for a real football season. My prediction....Nebraska, 4th in the big Ten, Big Ten Champs....anyone else in the Big Ten...I promis you, no can predict that one!

Okay, University of Michigan fans suck. They rate right there with Ohio State. They deserve each other. May the best team loose. On the other hand though, what is this that I heard that University of Michigan is rated #25 nationally in the pre-season? Are they on the come back? A top 25 team is a tough team. Go Blue, Go Green and White, Go Wisconson Red, Go orange and blue Illionis, Go Jo Pa, Go Hawks, Go Gohpers, Go NW etc. Nebraska, do you get to beat the living daylights out of University of Michigan this year? This ought to get some blood pumping.

Okay Art Deco Man...it is Michigan State where nearly everyone in my family graduated from. Wife, son and daughter...i went eleswhere. College Dean, Space Engineer and Doctor. MSU is a great school like so many others in the Big Ten. I was reading the so called strong and weak spots on the MSU and Nebraska teams. Sounds good to me...there weren"t many weak spots at all. If Nebraska is so darn sure to win the Big Ten then why are the experts saying that Nebraska faces their toughest schedual ever? You guys are right, Wisconson will be a challange to Nebraska. BUT, then again so would MSU or Northwestern and Illionis, and Minnesota and...see, I told you Nebraska would have to get up for every game....oh, I forgot, Nebraska is looking forward to the Wyoming Cowboys. Have fun running up the score on one of your great schedules at the Wyoming Cowboys you Nebraska Corn peelers. The cowboys are noted for riding bulls not football.

> Huh??? What the heck are you talking about, Roy? Coach Artie is an LSU fan! The Coach is totally independent on the Big-10 picks. I know Wisconsin is a good team, but, I also saw them lose to an overrated TCU team, in the Rose Bowl. They flat out got outplayed! I saw a very lucky Michigan State team get man-handled by the Alabama Crimson Tide. I saw an average Florida GAYtor team beat Penn State. I saw Mississippi State throttle Michigan. I saw Iowa squeak by Missouri. I saw Illinois thump Baylor. I saw Northwestern fall to Texas Tech. I saw Nebraska get booted by Washington. I saw Ohio State jump out early against Arkansas, and hold on for dear life in the 4th quarter for a win (forfeited of course, over the "Capitalism Gone Wild" tattoo episode). Overall, The Coach thinks Nebraska will march right on in to the Big-10, and make themselves at home!

Art Deco Man, Yup, you are right. What I could never understand is why MSU cannot seem to get up for an away game. I am a Blood runs Green Spartan and have been so since Duffy Dorety. Bubba Smith, George Webster, and a lot of others. I think the Big Ten has been a little on the weak side in the last few years. I also think that MSU is showing some talent. They could be in the running for a few years in a row now. Will they beat Nebraska? It is an away game. When Nick Saban was our coach we loved him. Then he left in a hurry and we hated him. That means he was a great coach. Well, at Iowa one year we were a rated team and Iowa thumped us. I was within a few feet from Nick Saban most of the game and when our boys went in for half time I hollered to Nick that he needs to fire up the kids they looked lathargic. Nick looked at me with fire in his eyes and did nothing to get the team going. Nebraska is an away game. I think that the teams in the Big Ten are underratted right now. How in the hell does Nick get LSU fired up and Alabama as well?

> Never fear ... it's finally here! College Football season!!! YEEEHAAA!!! Ole Slick Saban is a motivator ... he's old school, and will get in your face when you're goofing around and not doing your job. We need more of that in this country right now! FACT!!! Hey, Roy, good luck to you, and your Spartans this year! I think they will be in the thick of the Big-10 race! Have a good one, bro!!!

Legends & Leaders divisions??? Huh??? LOL!!!

Hey Art Deco Man.
I watched the Michigan State Game Saturday at a Sports Bar in Salt Lake City Utah. Was I ever a little bit dissapointed. Just as the media has been saying, MSU has a great quarter back and a strong receiving and running game. The offensive line is weak and needs help. There are only two players on Defenss doing their job, John Adams a "B" rated player at best and a new commer #31 that shows guts but little brains. Out of 11 defensive players you couldn't gather a set of balls amongst them. Dantonio went to a bowl last year just having a heart attack so the team was in sticker shock as well. This year he was in Ohio because his father died and the team was poorly prepared. Excused are over...they need a great deal of improvement. Right now, MSU #4 in the big ten at best. They might get lucky with some good ole fashioned hard work and win it all but Mark D will have to prevail heavily if it is to be done.
