USC will contend for the BCS National Championship. There's little doubt about that.

CT, just remember who the reigning Pac-12 South Division Champs are, huh ha! that's right, the mighty Bruins baby!! and we're ready to defend our title...and by the way, I love that 50-0 score, it gave us Jim Mora and the rest of an awesome recruiting staff and some of the most talented young coaches in college football, just ask Kiffin, he already tried to steal our coacn Demitrious Martin.

What is that old phrase, "You have to go to hell before you get to heaven". Hmmmm, so that is how you try to persevere though all your (B)ruin grief...

So what are those awesome recruiting staff members doing so far that is any different then your old "passion buddy" NewHeistal. So far, USC has 4 player commits listed in the ESPN 2013 Top 100. UCLA? ZEEEEEEEEEEEERO...

2013 ESPN Top 100
10)Kenny Bigelow DT
13)Max Browne QB
69)Chris Hawkins CB
90)Kylie Fitts DE

Sounds like just more medium-talent players on there whey to play for City-Second-Choice-Bruins and Mora...

Really? So far it is sounding like just rehashed Newheistal stuff (see excerpt below)

>UCLA's football roster seems to have reached that point after seven spring practices. A total of 24 players did not dress for practice Tuesday. That's nearly one third of UCLA's current roster sidelined because of injuries<

So I am ready for the (B)ruin spin on this, but the fact is your recruits just seem to be soft, undisciplined, and lack the proper strength conditioning. Maybe that is why that certain "type" of player picks your school in the first place...(soothing baby blue)! HaHa

All commitments right now mean S Q U A T, wait til signing day. And besides the success of a recruting class is not necesseraly based on how many "top-100" recrtuits you get - at least not in football - with 22 postitions to fill it's more important that you fill the spots left vacated by seniors leaving, and USC sucks at that, sure they get commitments from some of the top recruits,, but what are their positions, WR or QB? how many freakin QBs can you put on the field? or WR, how many do they have right now like 10? that is ridiculous!! their need is at RB, OL, and DT, how many of those "top-100" are RB, OL, and DT?

sorry, I didn't read your entire post til now...Kenny Bigelow is way over rated, he has never played against top competition, his competition cosisits of small schools...Chris Hawkins, waaaaaaaaaay over rated also, I saw him play twice last season, and I'm shocked that he is rated as high as he is...Kilie Fitts I have not seen him play but plays in a weak league in CIF, he goes to the same school as D.J. Shoemate did, how did that work out for you?

What does USC's defense look like? They really didn't have that great of a defense last year. If that comes together, then i'd agree they can play with anyone. UCLA, you guys will probably be rebuilding this year, especially with a new coach and a new system.

Well that would be about 3 or 4 on average if we are talking about UCLA every year! Maybe you should re-think that... HaHa

The Trojan way is being sooooooooo overloaded that when a player doesnt work out, we just plug someone else in... Instead of being forced to play a walk-on QB late in the season like your sharp-witted NewHeistal.

USC - WHERE AN 8 WIN SEASON WOULD JUST BE AVERAGE

A very fair question Matt. While we scored about 36 points a game last year, we gave up about 23 which was something like 40th in the nation overall. We cant expect to play the (B)ruins EVERY game and hold teams to goose eggs (lol). Monte Kiffin is slowly but surely molding our defense into a more spread-friendly unit. That has been evident so far this spring. Essentially what the Trojans are trying to do is adjust to the rest of the Pac-12 in emphasizing speed more than ever. We are seeing if smaller players will fit at bigger positions, and so far it is making sense.

So then why is it USC never loses less then 8 games a season and UCLA never wins more then 6? Hmmmmmmm... HaHa

noooo, we're talking about USC, one QB plays at a time, so have as many 5-star QBs as you please, bottom line they can't all be throwing TDs at the same time...keep offering QBs and WRs, and keep ignoring DT, OL, and RB, better for us.

USC was ranked 105th in the nation last year, so for USC to have another 10 win season the offense better perform as good or bettwer, because our conference has improved, especially UCLA, we'rwe ready to defend our Pac-12 South Division Title baby...BRING IT!!!

Rob is always the (B)ruin ultimate optimist. The latest report about your UCLA quarterback competition through spring practice continues to be that none of the contenders has yet to distinguish himself as the leading candidate and that can mean one of two things.

1)Rob and a few diehards will say its because each of the leading contenders has played at the same high level
2)The rest of the world and recent (B)ruin history would argue that they again have all been equally mediocre!

UCLA - READY TOP DEFEND THEIR 6-8 ANOMALY OF A SEASON
USC - NO LONGER ON PROBATION SO TAKE NOTICE PAC 12 SOUTH

You are correct, no one has stepped so far ahead of the others because they all looked good, especially Jerry Neuheisel! the kid is gonna be a stud like his dad, and Brett Hundley is also looking good!! thanks for noticing the Bruin greatness!!
