It is sort of ironic that the incendiary statement made by Rick Nueheisel 4 years ago might now be coming to fruition the year after he was removed!

Now let us not get too hasty Brewski. We just lost our first game against a Pacific-12 opponent at home and we have not been very good on the road :/

Maybe we should just keep the fruit to kiwi and blueberries for now ;)

Go Bruins!

Hey Brewski, I know how we Bruins can be better than those Trojans. We make sure we win our game on a week they don't play ;)

Please! Even IF the season turns out well for the Bruins, they are YEARS from being able to claim that statement has come to fruition.

13 years of dominance over the Bruins.

14 years of dominance over the Irish.

These are not things that are wiped away with ONE good season. Hilarious, that anyone would be dumb enough to think so.

As I've stated, win 3 in a span of 5 against USC and the Bruins can make that claim! I'm not saying it'll never happen. It probably WILL. But until then, don't make me laugh with claims the monopoly is over.

My bad. Only 10 years of dominance over the Irish.

If Hundley and company stay healthy, and with the leaving of Barkley, Lee, and Woods (to the NFL I am sure), the playing field looks a lot brighter for the Bruins now.

I seem to recall about 5 games into Pete Carroll’s second year and a lot of you Trogies were asking for his head. Well good thing SC didn't listen to a lot of the whiners as I think you won something like 8 straight to finish off the season and then I KNOW you remember how things took off from there.

So far, I am extremely happy with the offensive production, play calling, and coaching from the new Bruin staff, in just the first year. Sure we have to wait and see what plays out, but so far Mora is ahead of pace of what Carroll did in the same timeframe.

So when you say "As I've stated, win 3 in a span of 5 against USC and the Bruins can make that claim!" To me, it sounds rather ill-omened that your are already resorting to some backpedaling by even contemplating that this could be a possibility. The arrogance of the Pete Carroll era would NEVER allow something like this to be said. Watch out for your fellow SC cronies, they might ban you from the sports bar! Heh Heh heh

Of course, it's a possibility. It's not likely, but anything is possible.

Heck, it's POSSIBLE the Mayans got it right and the world will end on Dec 21 of this year. But does that mean it's likely?

I'm planning on still being here on Dec 22.

Thats okay if it does end on December 21st, because we expect our Bruins to play in another one of those early bowl games so I think we are good :)
